it's an excellent, safe place to vacation. it's historic being the birthplace of so many religions. it's cultured from its museums to its art galleries, theater, ballet and beaches. some of the best diving in the world is in Elat.

if you went to a mall, you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference from a top quality American mall. it is highly industrialized and advanced in technology and medicine.

you can ask any1 on the street anything and they will automatically try to answer you with a smile and if they can't they'll try to look around for some1 that knows the answer.

another cool thing i think about israel is that it's a lovely country-which has so much history and culture (old and new)

another cool thing is israel invents and contributes a lot of research in all the aspects of life: such as science and technology, culture, social, agriculture, industry, medicine, environment and anything you can think of - israel has contributed.

another cool thing is you can walk and see a group of ppl like today with costumes in the streets dancing laughing enjoying.

israel is the only country which has been bombed by almost every arab country around it and still a three room appartment costs more then the same appartment in paris

another cool fact of israel only is that when you meet a girl you always ask her what she did in the idf and sometimes you discover she has been more combat then you :)

israel is the only country that if you hate the government, the taxes, the situation israel is in, the too much beauracracy - then that means you love it.

I like the fact that it's very safe. It's okay to walk down the street at any time of day or night, even in Tel Aviv. I also like how multi-cultural and tolerant it is. There are religous Jews, non-religious Jews, white Jews, Arabic looking Jews, black Jews, Christian Arabs, Muslim Arabs, Druze.

I do not know what is cool in Israel but I'll tell you what is not.
This country has a terible problem with water supply.
A friend of mine decided to go somewhere else for the remaining week of her holidays because she wasn't allowed to use the bath in Israel.
I mean how is it possible to live in Israel which is so hot in the summer and can't have a decent shower when you get back home?
This is very uncivilized to me.
Also I've heard that the police strip-search everyone even when sitting in a cafeteria or something.
That's very rude. It's like a war-zone and I don't like that a bit.
