It depends on where you're coming from and what you like to do. If you're a shopper, then you will want to hit the shopping festival in January. If you like camping and outdoor adventures, the weather is nice from November to March. From April to October, the weather is too brutal for most people's tastes. But if that's the only time you can go, you'll probably still have a good time.

Well you can go anytime of the year. it depends which weather you like. but i would prefer little cold is better. but you can enjoy night life during summer also.
Hey when your sis stays in Dubai why dont you ask her she is the best judge ....she can suggest you the best time to be there with her

DSF period (Dubai Shopping Festival). This year's DSF will be on December. Not sure of the date but I think it will be on the 1st week and it will last til January of next year. More adventures and fun during DSF so it's better if you will come here on December to enjoy your visit.

I went during summer. It was really hospitable. Winter is also a good time. It's awesome spending the holidays in Dubai, whether you're Muslim or Christian.

Unless you want to surprise her...Usually about july August is the hottest time....and trust me its HOT like sweaty hot.

But its a really cool place there in the sense that there are freaky things like underground electricity cables and parking fine bays and many more technological stuff that we dont see in Australia...Yet

I like some heat so I prefer it there in September or May, even April. Just don't go during Ramadan which I think starts at the end of September this year. Have fun.
