syria is a great country mixed with old (6000) years back.
You are where history's voice can be heard, where the soil holds the imprints of the world's oldest civilizations, some dating back to the fourth millennium BC. The names of sites that evoke the story of mankind at its very beginnings: Mari, Ebla, Ugarit, Amrit, Apamea, Doura-Europos, Palmyra, Bosra, Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Latakia are but examples amongst many. Agriculture first appeared in Syria thousands of years ago, when man discovered the possibility of growing hundreds of new plants from seed. This discovery made it possible for civilization, as we know it, to begin. Men abandoned their caves and began building houses, and establishing settled communities. They embarked on journeys of self-discovery, observing the heavens and singing the earliest-known hymns. Ancient Syria is a testament to achievement. The secrets of metallurgy were discovered, making it possible to hammer bronze and copper into shapes that would serve domestic, military and aesthetic uses. At Mari (Tel Hariri) numerous palaces, temples were discovered many of whose walls were decorated with murals reflecting advanced cultural and commercial activity. The kingdom of Ugarit (Ras Shamra) offered mankind its first alphabet. At Ebla (Tell Mardikh), a royal palace was discovered containing one of the largest and most comprehensive archives of the ancient world, dealing with matters of industry, diplomacy, trade, art and agriculture. Ebla's power spread from the Anatolian mountains in the north to Sinai in the south. It became world-famous for two industries, the manufacture of silk cloth, and finely-carved wood, inlaid with ivory and mother of pearl. Today these industries still prosper, with Syrian brocade and inlaid marquetry still being fashioned according to the artisanal tradition of ancient Ebla.
Dear our colleague;
To start the tour from any where you like you are going to see the variety of all ages and civilizations, where in Syria there almost 6000 civilizations founded here, where to go? Here a brief of our amazing cities;
Damascus; Syria's capital claims to be the world's oldest continually inhabited city. Take to the cobbled streets to explore the atmospheric bazaars, coffee shops, the Umayyad Mosque, with all Islamic archeological sites and
Palmyra; An oasis seemingly in the middle of nowhere, the great city of Palmyra once flourished as an ancient caravan town. Spend time walking around these extensive ruins, learning about its Assyrian, Greek and Roman roots.
Homs; Little has changed in the 800 years since the Crusader knights built their spectacular castle of Krak des Chevaliers. Wander around its impressive fortifications before heading to Hama for the night.
Hama; Between enjoying the local concoction halawat al-jibn, visit other famous attractions like the 'norias' wooden waterwheels, and Imam Zeinulabedeen.
Aleppo; With its remarkable souq, interesting architecture, beautiful mosques, and Mash had Imam Al Husain here is much to explore in the city of Aleppo. Visit the Citadel, which dominates the skyline and provides fantastic views of the city below.
Alrqqa; The city located on the Euphrates river where you can visit Ammar bin Yaser, Oais Alqurani, and Ubai Ben Ka'ab. You can visit the remains archeological with all historical sites.

More cities to visit, more history to discover, and more to enjoy.

the best and peaceful country is the United Arab Emirates bcos:

it is a very rich country

the country's law is not strict as in other gulf countries.

quite a number of nightclubs and hotels to wander around

most happening - dubai world cup (horse racing), dubai shopping festival, dubai millionaires duty free, the only five star deluxe hotel in dubai (burj al arab), the gold markets in dubai and sharjah, the corniche in abu dhabi.

surely for foreigners its a paradise bcos they get good value for their money as 1 US = 3.70 UAE Dirhams. UAE is a place for shopping, hotels, investments, and many more!
