"sweety", i use it so much that at times by mistakes i call my male colleagues that and then regret it big time, so i m now making a great effort to simply stop using this word

I say the word 'man" a lot as in "yeah man" and "ok man",even if it is a female I am talking to.
Did it to my Mum and she hit me on the head with a cooking pan she had in her hand.Its a bad habit and Ive just gotta stop doing it man.
