It is definitely George Bush. He has caused so much War around the World that nobody likes him. We saw him in England last year and the wife shouted at him "Feck you Booshie". He shouted back "Feck you too Auntie."

I love it here :-) It is like living in TV land. Our town has so many functions it reminds me of Gilmore Girls ... movies in the park, parades, bands, everyone supports our little league teams (Go Cardinals) girl scouts wander around selling yummy cookies, kids walking around and riding their bikes, playing in the streets. It is so green here as well, so beautiful and full of life there are deers, bunnies, raccoons, squirrels and a bit north of here bears ---and I'm only half an hour from Manhattan so it really is the best of everything. LOVE IT I'm truly spoilt rotten. I can walk everywhere, public transport is brilliant, I feel safe walking alone around NYC at any time of the day or night. I have never been scared here.There are a few Saffas here and we are all happy and get together for braais in the summer -- and tease our American friends when they just put burgers on the BBQ, we'll teach them how to enjoy a braai eventually :-)

Well the Americans want Clinton back because under Bush the whole country is on it's knees whereas with Clinton it was only Monica...

I dont think that there is anything wrong with Americans, or the Americans that live there, but, of the Americans that I have met outside of America a lot of them (not all), would put you off America for life. They are not good Ambassadors.

SOme jobs may pay better outside of America..especially research projects where as most of it is watched over by a million and two ethical groups. The crime here is no more than what some countries have....our crime is just as senseless as anywhere else. I live in America and dont think there is a problem with it..but I am up to my neck with racial disputes...I'm so fed up with it. Its between blacks and whites and it seems like blacks wont feel equal until they manage to stand out which someone needs to explain that equality doesnt work that way and even if our new President is black, poverty will still be everything that most blacks know....I'm hispanic so it's better to stand aside and watch idiots cry about everything while I work to take care of my own

Yes , this is a terrible country , please don't come . People from all over the world are trying to get in . They know how bad it is but they'll do anything to get in .

I think some places in America, are wonderful. If I had a choice between Australia, New Zealand, and America, I would choose America. There are some wonderful universities, and schools there, much more closer to Europe, and a vast conglomeration of people...Different states, so you can choose, what suits your needs. Much better choice I think. But I presume it is much harder to get in, than Australia, and New Zealand..

With regards to Bush, well thank God his out soon...so we can all breath a sign of relief....

Best answered by doing your own homework (not trying to be smart), get on a jet plane and travel to an area of the US that you feel interests you. Spend some time in that area and get to know the people. Urban areas or rural areas, they all have their own culture and it is as different as Illinois to Wisconsin as it is from the north to the south or east to the west. Read up and go visit and then make your own decision on what direction you wish to go. Good luck.

I live in America and I think most people are pretty full of themselves for being from the "Wonderful" United States. =/ Many people have the attitude that they deserve whatever they want (thank you, stupid advertisements, you are a major contributor) and of course, everyone sues for every little thing. And then there's the child obesity problem, which, of course, fast food restaurants are... sued over! >_>

Of course, there are lots good things about America too. Still, I don't know if I would move here either...

America is so vast that most people fear getting lost there.Imagine all those states and all those tall buildings.Nobody want to get lost there.

There's nothing wrong with America. It's some of the citizens.
Murder, molestation, rape, armed robbery, crooked politicians. They are all in the same boat.

I was told because it was kinda hard to get employment. So I'm not sure. My dad got a job in AUstralia...it reminds me a lot of Durban. The only thing that really puts me off here is the summer!
