Well, not all people are the same, so I don't think ALL Egyptians are good and all are not bad. From my experience I found that the older Egyptian women are very kind, the younger women seem snobby- maybe it is because I am not too old myself, but the younger ones always gave me hateful looks when I was walking in the streets. I think most of the men are looking for a good woman to marry and take care of. BUT,,,,, I did find that a lot of the men are sex crazy and are dying to be with a woman. I love Egypt and Egyptians, they are very beautiful people. Egypt is my second home.

Egyptians are people just like westerners and and today it doesn't really matter much on ethnicity of a person its there actions that speak louder then words its a plus that Egypt does have some of the greatest wonders of the ancient world but that's your history and peoples opinions vary on different cultures today but mostly people don't mind what culture you as long as you are a decent person people will generally take you as you are

I've visited Egypt for a considerable period of time. Most people were very friendly, but the men treated me with a huge amount of disrespect, even though I went out with my hair and all of my skin covered. I couldn't go anywhere by myself without being constantly harassed, and it only got a little bit better when my boyfriend was with me. That said, I would never assume an Egyptian outside of Egypt would treat me that way, so on the whole I'd say my impression of the people was positive.

you asked for genuine answers, you wanted the truth, i am sorry you dont like my truth, i dont think i made it sound like a hell but you said you DID want to know.
i would like to add or to say again that i do love your country i think it is beautiful and i do have a few good friends there. if i didnt love the place i wouldnt keep coming back. the friends i have are like all friends in any country, people who are very dear to me. but not all the poeple i meet are so genuine or honest. now you can accept my answer as one persons truth or you can reject it and pretend these things dont happen, if it makes you feel better. But it doesnt change the fact that the things i talked about in your other question do happen and they happen all the time to tourists.

As a very frequent visitor to Egypt (archaeological work for the past 8 years). yes the Egyptian people are friendly and nice and polite. But the educational level is very low. Too much poverty, and too much religion. A virtual absence of the past, which stops with Mohammad Ali (an Albanian born in the Greek city of Kavala in Northern Greece). As for Egypt the type of government says it all.

The Egyptians are superb hosts and hostesses, they are sweet family oriented people with a great sense of humour. They have great food as well.

i agree with rebossery,young women/girls here are bitter, when i am out, they stare at me, like they want to attack me, i am very nice, and i always treat people with respect and always say please.some young women here are scary.

I am an American man married to an Egyptian woman. I have been there 10 times in the last 18 months. I find there is Not enough religion in Egypt. The country has sold out its Islamic soul for the western dollar. The people ( of course not all of them) care more for money and the dunya ( the trivial life of this world) instead of for more important things. They complain about the Jews but Jews make up such a high percentage of the tourists! Corrupt government, I could go on but i think u get my point.

in general Egyptian people are very nice people.Everyone has good and bad in their country..i have never been to Egypt.
But i have heard many nice thing about the country and the people.You have the most prettiest women in the world and the country has alot of history and culture. And about the people,..They are the arabic version of us pakistani's to put it in a few words.

egyptians are extremely kind. I have quite a few egyptian friends and they are the kindest people i have met in my life.
Egypt seems like a wonderful country with so much to offer and i've heard many great things about Egypt that makes ME want to visit someday.
Egypt has some wonderful pyramids and the culture is just amazing!

we are the best!!!! we are the most friendly people ~~it is well known among Arabs...and if you wanna judge Egyptians dont judge according to those who work down the streets .judge according to the middle-class people..those are the EGYPTIANS..the poor ones who work on the streets probably lie and stuff about the price if you wanna buy for example..but if you go to a well-organized store you will find people who help you alot and give you nice prices
