When I was 13 I used to deliver milk in the morning. Used to meet the milkman at 5-30am and get about 80 pints of milk in crates which I had to deliver to doorsteps in the suburb. On Friday night we had to go and collect payment from the people for the milk I had delivered and made more from the tips than the Dairy actually paid me. On a raw winter's morning in the UK it took some motivation to go out in the pelting snow/sleet and handle ice cold bottles of milk. I must have been mad but they say it is character building.
