Probably everything the mom did, then later have a good laugh about it in private (so as to not further encourage it). The initial reaction would obviously be panic and a bit of anger/annoyance, but its these little experiences that make life so much fun. My closest friends one son used a scissor to skewly cut his younger brothers hair while she was at work. Unfortunately she broke into tears because it had been such a mess of a job, but now we laugh about it so much....

if he was my boy i can make him work harder during school hours so that he can think that the only time to rest when he is at school.

The first thing that springs to mind is that he is afraid to go to school...Maybe bullying...There are enough social workers being paid lots of money but all they seem to do is sit at their desks...Although older now, when I was at school I never remember seeing a social worker there..They must be like the MIB's, we know they exist but have no proof.

I would beat his silly little *** while he was glued to the bed. I would remind him that he was the one who glued hisself to the bed, and put hisself in this position of vulnerability. Well, I would do that to their child, not my own.

I would have a talk with the child. That is pretty extreme behaviour to avoid going to school. I would unglue, not force him to go to school that day and talk to him about why he would do this and find the root cause of the problem
