When you have nightmares and you wake up at night, what do you do/?

i usually wake up really scared, thank God im still there, and then go back to sleep

i open my eyes and then think .. what i think depends on the mood i'd be in.. if i'm having a honest mood... really honest... beyond my usual self.. i'd say: 'oh gosh!! that was a ****ing dream...
and if i'm having a 'life is good, i'm happy, pink is a great color' mood.. I'd think : Thank you Lord for making it only a terrbile dream, and not reality..

yeah i usually have nightmares and i just juump up!! i yelled the other day and my mum came into my room like a maniac!! lol

i only sleep imediately depending on the nightmare!!

sometimes i cant get up in a nightmare and i have to wait for someone to take the blanket off my face otherwise i would be scared stiff!!

I just say "whoa! That was F'd up!" then go right back to sleep

I rarely get nightmares, but when I do, I get out of bed, go drink/eat then go back to sleep.

I get the same weird dreams repeatedly though.

stay up and try to figure what the dream meant... i usually cant fall back asleep for at least a half an hour.

I run to my mum lol...not really. Usually i just start saying all the prayers i know...then i try to go back to sleep...if not then i just stay in bed all night awake lol. But the best thing is to say prayers...they calm u down so much.

No really , i just sit and then like chloe , i thanks God that it was just dream , and i go and drink some water , but its hard for me to sleep after it , it takes me some time b4 sleeping again .
