Sweden, Austria, or London.. Sweden has the highest standards of living in the world.. Austria because I was supposed to study over there in IMC-Krems, so I still want to go and see how it is over there.. London, because it's simply amazing!!

Cuba: because I love salsa music (which is where salsa came from)
I love their food and go to the beaches at night
Dominican Republic: to explore the country where part of my family is from and go the beaches there, too
France (again): to do more sight seeing and go to the cafes, go shopping and eat French food and see the architecture
Spain: to do sight seeing, go to cafes there and see the architecture
Dubai: because I've heard so many good things about there and I want to experience it myself

There are many more places but it will take me all day to write.

For my first trip abroad, I want to go to Egypt to see the pyramids. I studied Egyptian hieroglyphics when I was in college, a long time ago, so I'd like to see a lot of the ancient places I only read about in books.

Next, I want to go to Cairo and see what MODERN Egypt is like. I get little glimpses of this when I watch things on TV about the pyramids. There will be a little cutaway scene zipping through Cairo to some museum, some apartment buildings or a government building. It's so intriguing! My father and brother went to Egypt years ago when my children were toddlers and they had a wonderful time. They told me about eating fresh dates -- we can only get dried dates here -- and lots of exotic foods, and the music which my father especially loved, and crazy taxi rides, and hot weather, and riding on camels when the taxi couldn't get to some of the things they wanted to see. Oh, I was SO jealous!

We always get to see Mr. Zahi Hawass talking about Egyptian artifacts, but often there is another colleague of his, sometimes a woman. I would so dearly love to go to Egypt to meet some of these people, go to those museums and monuments, ride around in the taxis and on the camels. It doesn't snow in Egypt, I understand, and that appeals to me, too, because I hate and despise cold weather. Cold weather makes my arthritis act up.

So I need my new president, Barack Obama, to solve all the Near East problems so I can go to Egypt right away!

I would like to go to Mexico, because I used to live there when I was a little boy. That's where my grandmother lives. I haven't seen her in a while. But since the economy got bad & there's not enough money, I will have to wait for a while.
