I wanted to be a Ninja Turtle , ended up being a bunny....sh1t happens....
Seriously though , i mostly looked up to sports personalities like Jonty , Roberto Baggio , Ian Rush, Naas, Borris Becker.
When we used to play we used to always be "one of them" and immitate the way they played.

Mark Mc Nulty - the Zimbabwean golfer (I used to play a lot of golf as a teenager).

I also really liked Storm (X-men) and She-Ra (He-man's twin). Thundercats were cool too but I can't remember the characters anymore.

Non-fictional heroes when I was little: my immediate family particularly my big sister and my oupa, Roald Dahl, Elana Meyer and Jonty Rhodes... that's all I can think of right now I'm sure there were many more.
