If I could walk everywhere I needed to go that would be what I would do. Driving is over rated. :-P |

I prefer walking in Lebanon...
Many reasons actually:
1- It's always a wondurful weather to walk
2- There's too much traffic |

It depends on how far i have to walk, i mean i walk outside to take out the garbage and i walk outside to get the mail everyday and i walk outside to get the newspaper off the driveway and i walk on the treadmill but not as often as i should.
But i love to drive and drive fast! |

Ideally, I like to walk...but the thing is, walking in most of Beirut means inhaling carbon dioxide/ car fumes and other unpleasant odors in some neighborhoods....Plus, crossing the streets can be a life threatening experience!
In terms of driving, also feels like your playing a computer game (dodging j-walkers, crazy buses, mini scooters, insane cab drivers..etc); But I do enjoy driving through the mountain areas all over Lebanon..such diverse and beautiful sights...
Have my iPod all hooked up, a little smooth jazz or Jesse Cook and my Dr.Pepper...and just cruise :-) |

Well..it depends.
For health is better walking........but if you are in a hurry and prefer the comfort, then driving.
I'm lazy to walk, although I do it everydays. |

as a tourist walking/hitching was better with not knowing the Hebrew holidays (the days there is no bus) - mostly soldiers or army units got us round
as for driving I spent time in one bus, the floor of the bus was full of spat-out
nut shells, israeli soldiers thought it was fun to clean and discharge arms
and cleaning a chicken house on a kibbutz cleared my mind about driving or walking - I had chemicals that kill to worry about |
