I don't work like that! I'm always very productive in the morning and early afternoon. From about 15:00 I lose consentration and everything takes twice the time.
If I have to pick a day - Fridays are unproductive, Wednesdays are very productive. |

Most unproductive - Monday, that is when everyone is droopy and off schedule due to staying up late on the weekends, and not thrilled about going to work/school.
Most productive - Friday, that is when everyone is working together to get the job done so they can get home on time to enjoy the weekend! |

Thursday is the most productive day. Most Thursdays, people realize that they need to get their act together and do things that are due on Friday or finish stuff to prevent having to work over the weekend.
Monday is the most unproductive day because people are in a general slump. They are unmotivated and tired. Additionally, although you may do housework or run errands or do other tasks that may be considered productive over the weekend, these activities are not a likely choice of action after a hard day's work or a long day of classes on a Monday. For this reason, Monday is even less productive than any weekend day. |

productive: Monday... It is the start of the day and you have to get things going for the week.

Tuesday is most productive. I believe Monday to be the least. |

Tuesday. It is more productive than Monday because on Monday everyone is still grumpy and sad about being back at work or wherever. But by Tuesday they are more alert and not as groggy.
Sunday. Sunday is just a chill day. Friday and Saturday are for parties and fun!! Sunday is the day to just loaf around the house and wind down for yet another Monday. :) |

WELL Most Unproductive Day
The sick leave incidents commencing on a Monday seldom last for only one day, on average lasting for between 2 to 3 days thereby including a Tuesday and sometimes a Wednesday. Because a Tuesday is the second highest initial day of illness, the cumulative effect is that a Tuesday is the most unproductive day of the week.
AND Employees are most productive on Tuesdays, their bosses say, according to a survey by Menlo Park-based Accountemps.
Nearly half (48 percent) of executives surveyed recently said employees hit peak performance on Tuesdays. Not surprisingly, Fridays were viewed as the least productive day of the week. The results are consistent with two earlier polls conducted in 1987 and 1998.
AND FOR ME TUESDAY IS BOTH |

Productive - for me Saturday's because i always have something going on
Unproductive - definitely Mondays, i take forever to get back to work after the weekend, feeling grumpy, missing sleeping a little later and just being at home |

Zimmy, although you have about 16 answers above me, they have all decided on which day is productive and which isn't. I would answer your question, but what I,m thinking about, has nothing to do with work! Still want my answer? |

Friday is the most productive because you get out of the house. Go out clubbing, pick up guys or girls, get crazy, if you drink, youll be drunk, and you'll be up til 4 am doing this, thats pretty productive.
Saturday is the least productive cuz all you do is sleep off Friday, when you come to, you spend the rest of the day trying to remember what you did. |

Any day when my Internet is down is a productive day!
But in general, Friday for me is the most productive, its when I finally realize what a state our cottage is in and go into a mad frenzy of cleaning before we have any unexpected guests.
Monday is the least productive cause, weekend over, I think bugger it all and leave all my chores for the net and its siren song! |

If your talking work wise M-F I'd say Wednesday may be the most productive as it is "Hump" day, you've made it halfway through the week at that point, as far as the least productive I'd have to say Friday. Its the beginning of the weekend, everyone just wants to get out of there and have some fun. But then Monday could also be the most unproductive as well, at that point you're wondering, where am I, geez Monday already, recovering from the weekend. |
