i dont understand how ppl cud possibly agree with palestine.
theyve been bombing and throwing rockets at israel for years and they always want more.they hurt so many civilians and scarred them all! and civilians are only getting hurt because hamas is running behind them. their military cares more about their own lives then the protection of the civilians! israel belongs to the jews. god bless!

israel dosent want gaza, it has no need for gaza it is small and nothing is produced out of gaza except for terrorism, why would israel want another 1.5 million palestinians in its country? Israel is doing this to wipe hamas off the face of the earth because peace comes when terrorism ends!!!!

I hope so. I'd duly love to see Israel and the United States take the Middle East apart country by country and do our best to civilize them. Any religion (and the Middle East is practically synonymous with "heart of Islam") that enjoys stoning their own children to death needs a good dose of *** whooping. We have no need in Gaza and its civilians.
We don't care what's going in there in Gaza but we DO care when what's happening there comes to our lands - flying qassams and rockets, and are not going to sit still for these acts of Hamas.

Israel's borders may be about to expand big time, and not just Gaza. This thing might escalate into a huge regional war. What will that entail? Luckily we do not have to guess, the answers have been provided for us:

1. The coastal population centers of Israel, as well as the Golan Heights, will be hit badly by some kind of enemy attack, presumably from Hezbollah and Syria. (Isaiah 33) In response, Damascus, and perhaps Amman will be wiped out. (Isaiah 17, Jeremiah 49, Zechariah 9)

2. The Palestinians will "melt away" from Judea and Samaria in a time of war, leaving it open for Jewish resettlement in a large scale. (Isaiah 14, Ezekiel 35-36)

3. The east bank of the Jordan River in what is today Jordan will be reclaimed by Israel, with many refugees fleeing the area. (Jeremiah 48-49, Isaiah 15-16)

4. South Lebanon will be also taken by Israel, presumably in the same war, opening it up for Jews around the world to settle in when they make aliyah. (Zechariah 10:10-11:1)

5. Iran will live to fight another day. We know this because they are listed as one of the nations that launch an unsuccessful invasion of Israel. (Ezekiel 38-39)

Now let's look at something that specifically mentions the places where the current conflict is happening:

Zephaniah 2:4-7
4 Gaza will be abandoned
and Ashkelon left in ruins.
At midday Ashdod will be emptied
and Ekron uprooted.
5 Woe to you who live by the sea,

the word of the LORD is against you,

Can it be a coincidence that we are seeing events play out that were written about thousands of years ago? Nope, not a coincidence. The Bible actually is true.

I lived in Israel for 22 years.
Have seen too many crazy things happens there, I lost friends because of people like some of you here.
You forget how much money they get from Israel to build schools, they always end up buying more artillery.

Israel won Gaza (alone with the sinai, the golan heights, the west bank, and east jerusalem) in the six day war in 1967. even though gaza was part of the territories, it was not israel. israel ended occupation in 2005 and since then almost 3000 missiles have been fired into israel. israel is doing what they need to do to defend their country and people.

The Israelis don't want Gaza. They would be happy to give it to another Arab country, but no one wants these people. In the 6 day war the Israeli tanks were 50 miles from Baghdad with nothing to stop them. They turned around and went home because they didn't want it. They just want to be left alone to live in peace, but the Palestineans never learn.
I think the Israelis are being too humane, we would never do this in Iraq. Of course the Palestineans are pretty dumb to stay after being warned.

Sorry, but Israel will not occupy Gaza for the long term. I love Israel as much as anyone, but the current incursion disgusts me. Where is your humanity and caring for the innocent people killed. G-d does bless Israel, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love the Gazans any less.

And too answer this question...Israel will not keep gaza even the IDF said so that they wont keep it they just want the missiles too stop firing and too put a fear of hamas / palestinians so that terror attacks will stop. Even if israel conquers gaza its not something like oh my gosh cause its a small tiny territory that can barely be used for benifits.

they can't do that. If they annex gaza, they have to give civil rights to the palestinians..i.e. they bring in 1.5 million arabs into israel.. this will never happen (arab population growth will threaten the pure jewish state).

I don't. The Israeli State shouldn't exist. The Jews are Europeans, they do not belong in that part of the world. They are squatting on Palestinian land. More and more people are taking the side of the Palestinians because they can see they are the victims and the Jews are the culprits. I hope the future sees the Palestinians reclaim their land and send the Jews back to Europe from whence they came. Palestine for the Palestinians forever.
