The last person I complimented was my wife. I told her that she was beautiful yesterday. The last compliment I got was from my boss 2 weeks ago, he said that I was a good worker, and that I was doing a good job. Funny isn't it, that women always are the ones who claim to be unappreciated.?

My last compliment was from my older sister, she's 16 and I'm 15. Can't tell you exactly what happened but lately she has been having some troubles with her boy friend and i noticed something was wrong with her so i sat down and started to talk with her. I must have said some thing right because the next minute i knoww she says "Ash you should have been the older sister , you kno how to fix the most horrible, complex situations and your only 15" . i felt rly special after wards and i think that was the only time me and my sister actually bonded. But any how the last time i complimented some one was in art class i was looking at a piece of art that was hanging up and i didn't know a fellow student who is in my art class drew the portrait but i was talking to my art teacher about how good it was and how he should put it into the talent show and i guess the student over herd me and said thank you but I'd rather not .

You called me an angel and you said you like my way of thinking, the first i can't live up to..... coz i am no angel and we both know that, and the second well, it is really flattering when people admire you for yr way of thought. It gives me hope that i haven't totally lost it yet.

The last person i complimented was Nadine, coz she was such an angel and she kept telling me salamtek ya mama, i love you, Ya rab yeshfeeky, and i told her Nadine the best thing about u is that yr kind, don't ever change for mummy's sake. (Rabena yebarek fe awladna gamei3an).

Two days ago - I played a few songs on the piano for my neighbors on their grand piano.

"That was really great, we haven't heard playing that good since our daughter played years ago, come back any time."

Yesterday - Rehearsing for a church skit

"Good job, you were the best we've heard today and the only one who remembered your lines, see you next Sunday at the performance."

Today - A class (subject ~ history) We were drawing maps of Mediterranean Sea and land masses surrounding it. Time period of the Barbary Pirates - Tripoli.

"Wow, nice map. I like the way you formatted it and scaled it. It shows the location of the pirates in relation to the ocean and the landmasses to the north. Good job."

Some compliments. I am usually pretty busy so I just tried to think of stuff that I've done in the past few days. The quotes aren't exact but they are true and by my neighbor, my friend and my teacher. Hope this satisfied your need for compliment content.

The last person I complimented was my sister-in-law.

~I have been good friends with her for the last 10 years; she's been married to my older brother for almost 13. It took us awhile to really get to know each other. They recently had a baby girl (they are both almost 40) and this will be the one and only! I have long wanted to see my brother have his own child and get to experience that like I have. My s-i-l has been awesome! She is such a wonderful mother, and their family is so beautiful. I told her yesterday, with heartfelt sincerity, how grateful I am that she includes me and my family in their life. I love my niece dearly and feel very fortunate to be a big part of her childhood. She even consults me with most concerns/questions she has about issues, and she is 6 yrs my senior. I let her know how thankful I was for this, and that I truly feel blessed by her open arms and want for her daughter to have this bond with her Aunt.

(I see too much arguing and resentment these days within extended families due to uninvolvement, competitiveness, or simple dislike.)

That was said to her with a few tears in my eyes....also had a few tears receiving this compliment:

~My other sister-in-law (husband's sister) and I are the same age. We are great friends, and she complimented me by telling me that I was the most honest, inspirational, and real person she knew. And that I had inspired her to become a better person - Wow!! She is modeling my efforts of weight loss, and healthy living by starting a huge lifestyle change. She has been troubled by her weight for many years....I will certainly rally for her and be her biggest cheerleader!

Sorry this was a little long, but I felt the whole explanation gave a better description of the depth and meaning of these compliments!

I love my family. :)
