I will say that I'm more emotionally attached to my mother than my father. My parents are divorced so my father moved and has been living in Montreal, Canada for many years (since his family immigrated to Canada instead of the US from the Carribean). So, I spent more time with my mother. But thanks to God, I had my older brothers around who were like fathers to me. So, I consider myself to be very lucky.

I grew up with a Latvian mother and a Salvadorian father. My mother is intelligent, nurturing, beautiful, and just.. an all around amazing woman. She is like no other woman in the world, and I wish I could have the award to give it to her. My dad speaks little english, and he is very flighty. I've never truly had a father figure. My parents broke up when I was in fifth grade, and I feel awkward around my Dad. I wish it were different, but things are the way they are.
I love my Mother more. I love my Mother more than anything.

i thank God for giving me a mother who develops my heart and make me an emotional , loving person as well as a father who develops my mind and make me an intellectual person.

I love them both but I connect better with my father. We have similar personalities and tastes. My mother is my polar opposite so we tend to clash sometimes.

I love them both.
Each has a special place in my heart.
It is very difficult to favour one over the other.
At certain situations, you feel closer to your mother, and at others, you feel closer to your father.
It is not a matter of preference. They complete one another. Sometimes, they even do so without you knowing who is really the one behind a certain blessing.
After a few decades of life, their love becomes just one entity that you can't separate.
