because the hamas terrorizes its own people, forcing them to participate in a futile war against israel, driven by pipe dreams and hate-filled rhetoric. they are also using suicide bombers and indiscriminate attacks against israeli civilians. they are the ones who have only got to say... Why is hamas a terrorist organization? Why is Hitler the world's worst criminal? They both have the same purpose to exterminate the Jews, their land, and exploit them. Also they are terrorists for exploiting the Palestinian people by using them as human shields, kidnapping women and children, forcing men to join their militant group, and slaughtering palestinians and jews. Hamas is also a terrorist pig for breaking almost every UN rule and humantarian rule. Say whatever you want about Israel, but Hamas is the greatest terrorist along with Iran and Hezbollah.

if they did not do it the need for retaliation would not exist

Im not sure about hezbollah but Hamas is indeed a terrorist group,
they even killed the guys from fatah group,

They specifically target civilians and non military targets, as a rule not an exception or as accidental casualties. They aren't firing those rockets at military areas are they? They fire them into the cities, settlements, etc specifically so they'll land on women and children and terrorize the general population. Its a military plan devised solely to terrorize/kill/maim innocent parties.

Even if Israel tried harder to avoid civilian casualties (I agree that they never try very hard) they couldn't really avoid it because of the way Hamas, etc operates. Personally I think that Israels actions in Gaza recently were disgusting. But just because the Israeli army acts like terrorists doesn't mean that Hamas aren't terrorists too.
Anyway, they're all crazy/evil in my opinion, I don't see how anyone can really support either side very much.

Depends who is making the judgement. Israel and her friends will regard Hamas as terrorists where as the Arab people will regards them as an organization fighting for freedom.

In Palestine during the 40s there was Jewish terrorism according to the British and Arabs but the Jews thought different.

Other examples are spread all over the world. The Russians and Afghan Government considered the Mujahdeen terrorists while others thought them as freedom fighters.

So you get my general drift.
