Because actually the US doesn't view what's going on in Gaza as abuse. America thinks that Israel is acting in self defense and that all its actions against Palestine are justified. Besides how can the US support Gaza when it supplies Israel with weapons.

I totally agree with you...Israel is the real terrorist. Most of the world thinks so too. Look at all the countries (except america) who are supporting Gaza ex: Venezuela and France. The US seems to be the only county actually supporting Israel.

The Israelis did this knowing it would lose for them the element of surprise and cost the lives of their own soldiers.

That is the asymmetry of means between Hamas and Israel. But there is equal clarity regarding the asymmetry of ends. Israel has but a single objective in Gaza â€” peace: the calm, open, normal relations it offered Gaza when it withdrew in 2005. Doing something never done by the Turkish, British, Egyptian and Jordanian rulers of Palestine, the Israelis gave the Palestinians their first sovereign territory ever in Gaza.

It was a big mistake, as the world is seeing today.

The best solution is the total destruction of the Hamas Muslim terror organization.

Gazans who wish to live in peace alongside Israel should be encouraged to do so. All terrorists should be killed in battle or taken prisoner and released only after they reach the age of 80.

The Muslims should renounce terror and revise the Quran to eliminate the anti-Jewish and anti-Christian suras.

The US has done something about the abuse of Israel. It has clearly blamed Hamas for continuing to do it.

That is what you were asking, isn't it? It's just that your English is a bit muddled and I'm not entirely sure of the meaning of the comment provided by you under Additional Details. I can't imagine that you would be painting Israel as the aggressor considering the amount of abuse she has tolerated over the years.

The US doesn't always get involved in policing the world. It sits and looks at the situation before they go in to help, like in the Kuwait war. We didn't go at first into Kuwait to help them until after Saddam started taking over the country.
We went into Iraq because of the WMDs and Saddam was raring his head up against killing his own people.
It seems to me that the US gets involved with protecting countries against the rogue countries. (Iran, North Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan). Israel is our ally, but the US will watch to see if it needs help before getting involved. If these other countries threaten to become involved, I believe the US will step in. (like Iran won't be tolerated)

i find it ironic though, the US pushed for the creation of Isreal, pissed off a bunch of countries doing so, stole their land and patched it up into a country to make up for the fact that when the rest of the world was fighting a legitimately noble cause they were too afraid to get their hands dirty. and now they won't help out the mess they created
