Today I just came back from Morocco where I visited my very dear friends. I guess that every normal person on the planet knows that there are very few terrorists and suicide killers and that most people want to live in peace and do have no radical ideas at all.
These people who think that Muslims = Potential terrorist are honestly bloody stupid people, probably brainwashed by CNN and never set a foot out of their glorious country.
If you get to know people from other countries, other societies and (why not say it??) other religions you will suddenly learn that there is no difference in the value of a human life.
Listen, I am Jewish, but I donâ€™t think that defending your life means that you have the right to demolish anybodies home, send rockets and kill innocents or discrime others in your day to day life.
Yes, terrorists have to be punished and have to disappear. But maybe the first step we should take is trying to understand how we would feel in the skin of our neighbour.
Killing an innocent person is taking an innocent life away, and sorry, there is no way to justify this.
I had a conversation with my friends in Morocco about terrorism in general and I must say that al they had to say was, that these crazy people have to be haunted and captured and punished. Nobody wants terrorism. Terrorism doesnâ€™t have anything to do with Islam or if you are Muslim or a Jew or whatever your religion is.
Maybe we should start to respect others as a human being and start to change things by ourselvesâ€¦ Seeing a potential enemy in our neighbours is definitely not the way to do things the right way.
There have been far too many people been killed for absolutely nothing on both sides and there is almost no family who has not lost somebody to cry over on both sides, so why the hell donâ€™t you say that itâ€™s enough? More than enough I mean, more than any history of any country can bear.
Donâ€™t you think that if normal people will start to live in peace together there would be no chance for terrorism at all?
Less CNN, less brain washing and more common sense and heartâ€¦ this is the first step we shall take and not talking about senseless things like that.

How is israel defending itself by occupying Palestine? You can't say you are defending yourself while you have soldiers on someone else's land.

In simpler terms, if i snatch the land you live on, and someone else tries to take it from me, would be logical for me to say that "Oh, I'm just defending myself and my land"

NO, because that land didn't orignally belong to me. By saying that I'm just defending me shows that I'm trying to claim ownership to it.

If Israelis attack Palestine it's self-defense, so why is it when Palestine attacks Israel it's called terrorism? We blame Isreal because they stole the Palestinians' land, and attacks anyone who says that they don't belong there. Israel is the cause of the problems. And yes, i've heard of jewish terrorists, they're called Zionists, and the reason you only know Muslim terrorists is because that's all the media will show you.

I'm very impressed with what Anita P said. Om Shanti it is not true that Palestinians killed jews even before Israel was established. When Zionists from around the world decided that they wanted to have a state of their own this is when the problems occurred. The land zionists had their eyes on was land already inhabited by Arabs and these zionists didn't want to live with Arabs they wanted to get rid of them and create their own jewish state. Israel kills Arabs and demolishes their homes in order to do that. Israel has almost wiped Palestine off the map. Palestinians have been suffering for 60 years now under Israel's brutal apartheid regime.
I also want to add what the previous posters already said, that there is no such thing as self defense when you are illegally occuppying someone else's land. If Israel feels so threatened then why doesn't she withdraw from the land she illegally occuppies? All I can say about Israel is that she is taking advantage of defenceless people and Israel is the aggressor here.

You need to read a book called "The Ethnic Cleansing of Pa;estine" by the Israeli historian Itan Pappe to have some understanding of the brutality and cruelty employed by the zionists in order to seize Palestine and rout it's population. You are essentially defending European colonization of a particularly reprhensible character. Nobody I should add is "persecuting" jews anywhere on earth and they have no need of an "ethnic" state all to themselves. Israel is not defending themselves. They are attacking.

The zionists came from Europe and while the country was still under British control, they formed a terrorist organisation and started bombing places like the King David Hotel and various Jewish religious places around the middle east. Today they are occupying another person's country. As I said they are from Europe.

Yes it's sad when children get caught up in this mess , but one must take into acount that almost 85% of the Palestinians living in Gaza with the help of Hezbollah and Iran voted for Hamas with the mandate to destroy the State Of Israel. Meaning kill all the Jews. Had that wall not been built arround Gaza God only knows how many Israeli women and children would have been murdered. The Palestinian propogander mechanism is in full swing they thrive on incidents like this. . Fortunately for Israel the majority of the democratic goverments arround the world do understand what Israel is doing to protect their citizens in Israel both Jews and Arabs . As usual the few Hamas supporters have put their evil ideas in their answers here to your question. They seem to wait all day then pounce on an Israeli question like their missiles pounce towards children. Israel gets blamed because Hamas the outlawed illegal child kiling terror group sell the story. Today they hid in a family home firing their rockets and now because of this the family are killed. Because they hid behind civilians. So sad. When will they be stopped. Like the IRA only their total elimination will bring peace to the middle East. The end of Hamas means the end of deaths.

What the heck are gunman doing near a home???? That's like when kids die in innercity bad neighborhoods because of gang wars' stray bullets. However, those kids parents' didn't vote for those gangs/government to rule the place.

Since 2000 there's been an intifada & tons of defensive IDF incursisions to stop the endless stream of bombers. Don't forget the chidren (young adult) suicide bombers included in that count. They suffered too!

Housing demolishing of bomber's homes as pressure to stop them was stopped a few years ago, so have to go back in time for that one to 1967. Settlements are on less than 5% of the entire WB & Gaza land!! Most are part of Jerusalem suburbs (each housing section is counted as a different settlement if the paint color changes.)

How many Palestinians further out are in land owned by Jews and confiscated by killing their owners in the progroms of 20's & 30's? There are entire ancient jewish communities in which no jews live any longer as of '48.

People who have the gall to include suicide bombers in the count of WHO died in the incident - can't be counted on to build a country or tell truth. Thank goodness there are others there who feel differently - even if they are smaller in number.

I agree with the question.In regards to the actions today those children would be alive today if those coward terrorists had not hid behind them.
