Look lebanon will never be called a country untill the lebanese themselves separate Politics from Religion until the lebanese stop voting for som1 just because they have the same religion as theirs and not because they think s/he will benefit the country the most. And the polticians in lebanon know that fact nd they are takin advantage of lebanese citizens. I dont understand why would anyone support any poltician because of their religion? will they like build more churches or mosques? will they help the people of the same religion more than other lebanese? Dont think so! the situation will change when lebanese people pay more attention to where there tax is spent instead of thinking of which religion will take wich ministry, when lebanese citizens start to ask why dont they have 24 hrs electricity and water like the rest of the countries of the world, lack of petrol is not a problem theres solar power, wind power, we can build water damns or use sea waves to generate electricity to feed all of lebanon 24 hrs a day. When lebanese ppl ask for a decent traffic system, for wuality education and universities, for international scholarships instead of asking for UN court, UN court is non of the citizens buisness its the governments buisness . so the solution of the problem is in the hands of the lebaneses citizens themselves and not the government.

I do understand how u and many other lebanese might feel but im doing my part as an american to influence and convince as many ppl not to support zionism (israel) or vote for a dumb *** president who would.
i guess u just have to hang on and hope things get better.

Lebanon is back on its feet as a matter of fact Lebanon is much better than before. After defeating Israel it should be known that Lebanon is a strong country and that tha Lebanese love thee country and are willing to fight for there country till there last blood. This made a big change to the whole world which look at Lebanon now as a strong country. Maybe there a lot of damages and many lives were lost but look at the bright side u proved to the whole world who you really are. Its time for all the Arrab countries to wake up and do the same.

It really boils down to leadership. Our leaders don't care about what we go through. They preach that they want to make things better for the people, but all the time they just keep making things worse for all of us. We need to start thinking positive and staying connected to family. Good luck!

As you know I live in America ( which I love ,as you love your Lebanon) My ancesters (American Indian) children and woman ,and Great men were slaughtered when the white men came from all over to take the land! they had no hope!
