Wrong info...Islam is the fastest growing religion on earth...then comes the chirstianity...
and that's because Islam is the right Religion...
i believe in christanity and i respect it too, it's the same GOD...and i'm sorry for those who answered badly about christanity...just dont give a damn, they'll know the truth one day...

The others were right, Islam is the fastest growing religion. however, I believe that it's because Islamic countries have high birthrates. In Saudi Arabia, where couples are having five children, that's three more muslims per immediate family. It adds up fast.
Christianity is growing quickly because it offers salvation for sinners.

Because it's about getting forgiven, not being judged and because there are freakish kinds of miracles happening all over the world and you can have that power yourself. People are getting healed, raised from the dead, legs growing back, their hearts healed, the lists go on.People want something real. They're sick of following a heap of rules. You get to have a relationship with God too. He talks to you and gives you visions and stuff. Imagine being best friends with God. I'd like to have a guy like that on my side!

Christianity is a missionary religion (as is Islam). This means that it actively tries to recruit new members. Judaism is not, and so it can grow only through childbirth, with little aid from conversion.

well, i think because of Africa more people are becoming christians in that continent because of missionaries and because christianity speaks of equality for africans who were always considered poorer etc.... But Islam is growing to because of birth rate.

At the Synagogue I visited I hear there are about 80% percent converts. They convert many non Jews into Judaism every year, there is about 25 attendees at the conversion classes.

it isnt growing faster because everyone has a choice as to what religion ya want. ya can be whatever you choose from having one to none.

actually islam is the fastest growing religion though i hate to admit. but for me christianity has done more good than any other religion. it has built hospitals, charities, orphanages etc. the other religions only followed suit.

It promises a whole lot of good things while requiring little in the way of different behavior. Plus it's popular already, and crazes like that only become more popular.

Last I heard, Muslim was among the fastest growing religions. I would assume Buddhism is also near the top, because of the population growth in China.
