Why did Hitler do this if he was a Jew himself?

Hitler has none of Jewish heritage whatsoever. He was simply an inhumane racist dictator.

He wasn't a Jew. He was a Catholic, brainwashed, psychopath. There are many theories attempting to explain why Hitler hated Jews so much, but I think the most believable one is that he was a politician hellbent on world domination, and targeting the Jews was an easy first step.

(We've never been very popular, anyway.)

The "rumor" is that he had some Jewish blood in him.... a claim usually supported by anti-semites. The story is so unclear, the lack of evidence so flagrant, etc...it would be unwise to believe it.

As you might know, Hitler's real last name was not "Hitler." Here's a run-down of Hitler's family life.

Hitler's father, Alois was born illegitimate. For the first 39 years of his life he had his mother's last name- Schicklgruber. In 1876, he took the lastname of his stepfather, Hiedler. The word was probably changed to "Hitler" along the way somewhere.

Opponents of Hitler claimed that his grandmother, Maria Schicklgruber, became pregnant while working as a servant in a Jewish household. Though even if it were true, Hitler would not be Jewish, since Jewish blood goes according to the mother.

In short, the story of Hitler being a Jew in any way, is utter crap.

Though it would have been weird for Germans to say, "Heil Shicklgruber!" Allied propaganda exploited Hitler's original family name during World War II. Pamphlets bearing the phrase "Heil Schicklgruber" were airdropped over German cities.

Take a look- In 6th grade, Hitler failed and had to repeat the grade. His teachers said that he had "no desire to work." One of Hitler's fellow pupils was Ludwig Wittgenstein, a Jew, brilliant student, and who would become one of the great philosophers of the 20th century. A book by Kimberley Cornish suggests that conflict between Hitler and some Jewish students, including Wittgenstein, was a critical moment in Hitler's formation as an anti-Semite.

EDIT: I've read Night. Freshman year in high school right? Yup, I remember that book. It was a goddamn account of the Holocaust and we had a few students laughing their way through that book.

I cannot believe that Hitler was a jew.

As to why he did the sick, disgusting, and inhuman things he did to fellow human beings, I cannot imagine.

It is obvious that he had an ounce of conscience, however. In the end he killed himself rather than face the reality of the acts he committed. So a man who know that what he is doing is sick and immoral - and still carries it out - is very dangerous and incredibly destructive. Hitler was both and he was inhuman.

He was a Jew on his father's side.The Jews would not claim him.He was a quarter Jew,so the Germans said he was a Jew.Now that makes him unclaimed.You might say a bastard.Now he's a Jew and has to understand their mentality,but being Aryan harbors a different ethic,containing antisemitism,not being able to reconcile the differences he pushes the world into destruction.The conflict was in himself.
