It is a very common type of tree which is planted for many reasons. The Xians plant it too as they use it for Xmas!
We Jews do not believe in the judgement day the way Muslims do; our beliefs are quite different!

Israel is gifted in Agriculture. They have made the desert bloom & rejoice from their creative planting of trees, shrubs & flowers. A tree is a tree, my friend. They plant all kinds of trees, not because of a false prophecy they do not recognize, but because they recognize that planting them brings rain, which the Middle East desperately needs.

They grow well in the climate. They make good fences. They provide shade. Olive trees also serve this purpose. I have three olive trees planted in front of my house (also have a couple desert willows, a mesquite) - do they mean anything to Islam? Better question: do you really think I care?

For practical reasons. They are useful. It has nothing to do with Islam, really. I can't believe the trees we plant now are considered "anti-Muslim" Wow.

If you have access to someone who knows arabic you can double check that the quote that Cipra gave is accurately backed up. Of course he could have pointed out the parts refusing "so-called peaceful solutions". There are direct quote from the Protocols of Zion and Jews are blamed for all the wars in the world.
