not only lebanese girls love to do that. lots of other girls in other countries do that too....I personally think that middle eastern girls are obsessed with their make up.... not only arab girls , have you ever seen iranian girls??! well if they enjoy it then why shouldn't they do it?
make up was invented for putting on so carpe diem!

Meantime, the ones that do, are usually pretty good at applying makeup on rather professionally...very in touch with fashion...and they look good!

Like in any other culture, some women just don't have the proper techniques/and taste to apply it on without it being a bit vulgar for my taste...

But otherwise, Lebanese woman are also known for great Mediterranean skin..and don't need much or any makeup in my opinion

I'm not properly a girl bcoz my age...but i cant go out of my house without make up either.
it's related with how much comfortable one feels or not....being without make up.
Even...women like me that work in places where all the day are in contact with many pple, like to be "presentable".......not "passable" as UltraN said.
And one more thing......that is not only about lebanese girls........almost all women around the world like to do it too,,,also in arab world. Havent you ever seen ur granny putting ko7ol in her eyes or any other woman in your family?

Because it's the fashion for middle eastern women. You think the Lebanese wear a lot of makeup - you should see the girls from other middle eastern countries. (No offence to anyone) That's just the style here. Personally when I got married in Lebanon I did not have my makeup professionally done (which is like a crime to the women here, I am sure they gossiped about me) because I am American and our style is to wear makeup so it looks like you have none on.

You must understand this about leb women, they are very extrensic women, meaning they put most of their focus on their looks then on their heart and personality. If you want a beautiful statue then go and get one. I myself like cute women with warm and tender hearts. Im lebanese myself and i would never date a lebanese woman.

not true..most of them put some on and i cant see why not if someone with makeup looks better than without.
anyway, lebanese women r known for their natural beauty so dont generalize.

not all of them but I think it has to do with how they feel more comfortable...some like to put make up on and some don't, same as anywhere else

dont generalise! im lebanese and the only time i put on makeup is at weddings or very special occasions. plus we're beautiful the way we are so we shouldnt wear makeup!

u have people from every nationality put a "looooooooot" of makeup on lol not just lebanese girls..and who cares if SOME lebanese girls put makeup on? its good that they are taking care of their image!

arab girls in general wear ALOT of makeup, like they cake that crap on like a halloween mask

i dotn ever wear makeup cuz im sensitive to it, i can barely wear it on occassions, but im pretty sure if i was able to id probably end up joining the "too much makeup cult" every arab girl seems to be in, which i dont see WHYY arab girls feel the need to wear that much, we have natural beauty and the most beautiful women on eartj

I know what you mean , I think it really has a dual purpose as to protect the skin from the sun. To keep them as fair as possible.

I dnt know but it bugs because Im lebanese and I hate anything that has to do with make up. My mom bugs me to at least putting lip gloss. Im more for natural beauty.

well women iin general who wear alot of makeup I guess dont feel very secure with there face and want to cover up.. I know my mom is like this she will even sleep with makeup on.. dont know why some people are so insecure :)
