there is an end to everything - from good things to bad things. without having bad things in our lives we would not know to appreciate the good ones. so, good things eventually have to come to an end and bad ones start to happen or else we can not appreciate all the good that is happening to us.
i think that in the most cases when something good is happening to us (no matter how long we enjoy it) ,we think that it passes to quickly; and when something bad is happening (no matter how brief) we think that it would never end.

Yes they do. I rember reading a quote for Ernest Hemingway, "There is no lonelier man in death, than that man who has lived many years with a good wife and then outlived her. If two people love each other there can be no happy end to it".

However, I believe once a good thing is over, one shouldn`t feel sad because it is over, instead he should feel happy he was lucky enough this good thing has happened to him.

God's willing, in paradise (heaven) ISA, all the good things will last forever and no one will be bored; on the contrary ppl in paradise will be busy with endless pleasures .

Good & Bad things will always be together can't separate until the last day , when God will make a different between Good (Heaven and people there) and Bad (Hell with people there).

That's life, and that's a great wisdom from God to us, you will never feel the good unless u felt the bad before.

i refuse to look at the picture in this way.
everything comes to an end , life , work , relationships , friendships , etc.
God ordains and we have to accept it .
i would say that this is perhaps better .
