To you they are freedom-fighters, to me they are terrorists.
Since my sister-in-law and 6-month-old niece were victims of a Palestinian homicide bomber, I cannot see these people as anything else but terrorists.
Anyone who wages war on a cafe in Tel-Aviv, on a hospital, a school, an airport, etc is NOT a freedom fighter.
According to the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations: "...the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives" (28 C.F.R. Section 0.85).

The same in South Africa where the west including Britain and the U.S.A called Mandela a terrorist, but now he is a saint.

Also what about Osama Bin Laden, in the 1980's he was a saint and the U.S.A, U.K and France promoted everyone to be like him. Then when Afghanistan won Russia, he was branded a terrorist.

The west is hypocritical.

I personally believe that the Iraqi insurgents are freedom fighters beacuse they are fighting for their Iraq.

After all if Russia invaded Britain, I am sure many Brits would blow up Russian tanks.

honestly, havent the jews learned something from their ancestors? they have become exactly what their ancestors feared.. during world war ii, it was the nazis against the jews. today, it is the jews against the palestinians. it may be seen that the palestinians today are the jews and the jews are the nazis. they are doing exactly what Hitler did to them. you think they might have learned a lesson?

and because they are strong allies of the US, they always appear as the innocent ones and the palestinians appear as the horrible monsters.

they just add that "terrorist" term at the end because they want to portray us as the "thieves" and they are the "rightful owners"

how is it that after world war ii, they remembered that they had a land? they werent wanted in europe so they wanted to get revenge by taking over in the middle east?? because the palestinians have welcomed them with open arms and the jews took advantage of our hospitality..now look, they are stealing bits and pieces and no one is doing anything about it. young students study in dim light underneath the streetlight because the power went out in gaza.

now, do we palestinians frighten others? no, but they are afraid of us..because that is what they want the media to say about us.
palestinians lie in bed at night full of fear, not knowing if their house will be demolished, if all their dreams will fade away into nothing, their hopes will vanish in thin air, their lives will be lost... they are threatened on their way to school ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NZb5hbdJuY ) they are threatened going to work, they are threatened when they are in their own homes. Usually, one says "from the safety and comfort of their homes". Well, that doesnt exist for most Palestinians, they are not even safe in their own homes. what comfort do they have? terror lurks in every corner, poverty hangs on all the walls, death rolls around in the streets.

Ofcourse i want to go back to my land, but unlike you i do not mind jewish existence or co-living. Just because the occupation was wrong, doesnt mean we can go wrong too by killing non-combat israelies.
Show me where in Islam or Quran it says kill randomely and abuse islam reputation or your cause by doing wrong to face a wrong, ill call them freedom fighters too, till then they are causing the world to hate us and give us a bad rep. The UN definition of "terrorist" is a person or organization that purposefully targets unarmed civilians for death and destruction in order to advance a political agenda. I believe that the Palestinians qualify in this definition. If they were to refrain from targeting civilians and only attack military targets, then they would no longer be terrorists and would instead be legitimate warriors for their cause. Hitting civilians by mistake, which occasionally happens in a conflict, does not count as terrorism. It is only when civilians are the main target in a purposeful attack that qualifies as terrorism. Hitting a factory that produces guns or war planes or other war making goods are legitimate military targets, even if the workers are not soldiers. Hitting airports, railroads, highways, etc. in order to harm the enemy's war making ability are legitimate targets, as long as civilian casualties are not purposefully intended. Hitting shoppers at Wal-Mart is terrorism. Hitting people lining up to apply for a job in the post office is terrorism. When the Iraqi resistance targets US servicemen in uniform, this is not terrorism, although many in the West call it terrorism anyway, but they are wrong, by the UN definition.

you have to understand that one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter...there is no absolute real academic definition for terrorist..so yes israeli academics will tell you Hamas and Hezbolah is a terrorist organization...while Irani Academics will tell you that Israel is a terrorist State....i am not to sure about what the rest of the arabs believe of israel these days..im getting the impression that they to are calling hamas Hezbollah terrorists and that they are making peace with the israelis...

First of all you might not be getting many real Jewish opinions here depending on how many of us you already blocked with your new account.
Second you forgot to mention all the Arab Jews that moved to Israel before and after 1948, close to one million of them were expelled from Arab countries for no reason, around 580,000 of them settled in Israel and their descendants today are over 3.5 million.
These Jews left behind Jewish owned real estate 4 or 5 times the size of of the state of Israel and billions of dollars worth property.
The guys in Gaza and west bank can go live in the stolen Jewish land in Arab countries, they'll have plenty of space and they will be very rich.

I think one of the best examples of what a real Freedom Fighter is , is old Fidel Castro. In his day he organized armed and fed the people. Resisted the government on lands away from the civilian villages. Pressed forward in a military fashion and won.
I guess even Fidel wouldn't have thought of tying bombs to people and sending them into the casinos. His men fought together under orders like an army not independently and against the common wishes like the Hamas rocket men.
Terrorism is inhuman and not a part of a fight for freedom.
These people are just suicidal murders raising their children to die just like them.
Freedom fighters are guerrilla fighters or military fighters. They don't aim rockets at school kids and run to their family table to hide.
Jews are not alone .

How about acknowledging that there never has been a "Palestine" or a "Palestinian people" until 1967! Historically there has never been any kind of "Palestinian government", nor any palestine money/coinage, nor ANY recoginzed country of "Palestine" in recorded history, unless you want to refer to how, until 1948 "Palestine" was always a reference to jews. Sorry but your take on this doesn't fit world historical facts. You can claim what you want, that does not change the real history. Here is the history of "Palestine" as is accepted by virtually all the worlds population....read it and try to learn a few things, OK? That way you won't sound so shallow next time.
