Why do people keep coming into the Israel section and posting spiteful and offensive remarks?

Presumably their Arab country sections are so boring, they can't resist coming to Israel...!

If they keep doing it, perhaps a few of us should return the favour, and let them see how it feels.

The most annoying thing is the thought of them being able to influence peoples minds and make them think that what they are saying is true.

i don't think it has got to do with the section more than it has to do with the person in question, i asked a simple question in General/Family&Relationships, what should I get my hubby for his 50th birthday and a certain xAviator answered:
"Get him a vacation to the USA. Wait, nevermind, we dont want you middle-easterners hijacking our planes."

etc....etc...etc

The Prejudices against the Jews are age old. It started during the middle ages when the Jews were just about the only people around who could read and write. They also spoke at least 2 languages and in most places were allowed to loan money and collect interest. At this time most people, Including the nobles of the time, could not read and it was against the christian religion to dabble in Usury. (Collect interest against a loan) Therefore; The Jews were smarter and richer early in the middle ages and before. A sure way to make the insecure fear and hate you.
So the general populace created all sorts of rumors saying that the Jews were in league with the devil and on and on! Any one that has some basic intelligence and an open mind knows that current day prejudices are just a bunch of hype and Jealousy. However: there are lots of sheep out there that will say anything that Daddy said when they were growing up. Or they will mimic those in power who wish to redistribute the wealth of the Jewish people. (in other words, rip them off for what they worked hard for) It will never change. Idiots will remain idiots!

Because they really aren't nice people and many of them either think is funny, they hate jews, they think they are morally right even though their own sense of morals are warped, they are psychopaths, and/or any combination of what I have just said.

If I get the chance I'll update my answer here and point out what each person suffers from who posts here demonstrating a dislike of Israel.

Many people feel that thier arguments are so logical an unrefutable when bred in the welcoming cultures they live in that they can bring their idea to the other side (i.e. the Israelis) and win any argument. When they bring this argument that was so supported in other places, it is found to be inconsistent and false and usually offensive. Oftentimes they then get upset and revert to the more offensive and dogmatic views while repeating certain 'catch-phrases' of theirs frequently. This of course does not apply to everyone, but is a recurring theme.
Others simply dislike Jews or Israelis, and attempt to plant the seeds of dislike in anyone who happens across the thread.
A third group is so ideologically passionate that they cannot let viewpoints that they disagree with so strongly go uncontested.

Many of those that post their hateful BS abut Israel or Jews are children that are only on this board to do just that, post hateful remarks trying to get others mad then they report them and get them kicked off the board. It's a very common ploy by the children and those who have the mentality of children.

Because anti-semitism is spreading at an alarming rate. Just go on the general political section and every day you will see 100's of questions with a anti-semitism or anti-Israel bent along with countless answers with the same type of hatred. Its too bad the western world has not sunk to this level of hatred and the desire to mis-inform on the goals of Israel and its people.

They are pretty obsessed with Israel, it seems.

To summarize the Israeli dogma to everyone, Israel issue with the rest of the world is that Israeli leaders want to keep occupying land that was never part of Israel. If Israel is willing to end its occupation of other people land the world will be on the Israeli side its up to the Israeli leaders and up to those who will elect them.
The Israeli VS Palestine is a legal and Human Right issue to most people around the world.

First off, you take everything offensively, secondly, you are so offensive to others (ie: stealing their homes, businesses, splitting up their families, bombing and completely destroying the infrastructure of their countries) with no apologies...what do you expect, lollipops? This is directed at Zionists in particular, not Jewish people as a whole.
