I dont dislike her. Ilike some of her songs but I generally dont think she's talented.. She uses her sex appeal.. and sex does sell so thats why she's famous in my opinion.. So to me she's just like any play boy bunny turned singer.. you take her lightly..you like some of her songs but you certainly have not so much respect for her or her 'art'.

There's a few songs of hers that I like, but over the whole, while I don't dislike her, I don't really like her either.

'Cause she has no brains! It's really sad that men in the Arabic media are expected to be smart, cultured and talented... be they bald, old, big nose, it doesn't really matter. However, with Women, it is only about one thing: sex. I personally find this discriminating and degrading to women. But of course when the likes of Haifa and Dana-ana dandan are asked, they claim everyone hates them because they are "open minded" and "free"...

I am not an Arab although I live in Egypt and I don't like her. Actually,its not that I dont like her, it is more that I find her totally talentless,she is a video star not a singer.
Take away her well directed videos and she could be anyone of 1,000 others mediocre voices.
Listen carefully to her singing and notice the amount of over dubs she needs to make her voice sound reasonable.
When she starts singing live and not miming and writes her own material then I may give her some credibility.
But till then she is just another attractive girl shakin her boody to get attention.
I saw an interview with her and you have to admit what she got in the boody department she really missed out on in intelligence,shes sure not the brightest candle on the cake.
BTW in that interview you got a prelude of the future Haifa,you could see the faint dark moustache line on her top lip ,guess the make up melted under the lights.
I think her appeal is limited to young males pubescent girls and women who totally missed out in the looks and boody department themselves and use her to fantasise on.
Give her another 5 years and it will be more like,Where be Haifa who????

well considering the woman can't even sing.. then i understand the hatred.. she has done about 500 surgeries to make herself look "good" and yet unfotunaetly she's gaining all this attention because of her so called beauty (which is FAKE!) .. the woman has no talent... and her actions are unappropiate

Because they're ignorant, it's easy as that!

They believe a woman should never show her beauty in any kind of way. They're abviously very jealous and don't forget, to men she's a dream woman and if they had the chance, they'd cheat on their wives in a heartbeat!

I don't believe she's inappropiate, if she was in the US they'd consider her conservative.
