Why do some Egyptians see men with long hair as being less of a "man"?

For me,
i don't like the shape of the man with long hair
BUT
it disgust me when i see a man with long (( tied )) hair

btw, it DOES NOT mean that i am (( OLD SCHOOL )) or these stuff ... its just me

no, not at all , & i disagree with these ppl strongly , i just guess they feel disgusted of the way guys do their hair..

i mean i've seen some guys with gorgeous manly look with their long hair , but i've also seen a lot of gross men in this type..

May be its Smthing belong for tradtional as Example Men in Europe can Wear Ear rings But i Discover that Men in Egypt if they wear Earrings they called them GaaaaaaaaYs

maybe because in egypt Most girls have long hair and most guys have short hair,,and maybe guys with long hair will be mistaken for girls

i see your point because i know many people who actually believe this "theory" ( my father strangely enough ). i think its because of their long hair, they are seen as people who care about their looks etc which could be seen as less manly than just going out there like a rubbish bag.i dunno, i dont believe in the theory myself.i just hate it if its tied for some weird reason :S
