Thirdly, it's known __even scientifically__ that men are more prone to arousing their sexual desire than women ..... so!

The wearing of a hijab is a cultural norm that is not common in non-Muslim countries.

God created women as the nice and sweet half, so they should be protected and kept from the public eyes. Just for their men or others who who may not have any desire for them {father, Brother ...etc.}

The nature of the woman to be more sensitive than man, it's another reason that this sensitivity should be kept and protected by wearing modestly.

The main reason we wear it is because God told us to. It's like in Christianity when God says to not drink alcohol. The point of wearing the hijab is to cover our body so guys can't think anything nasty because they can't see anything except our face. Guys don't wear the hijab because if a girl sees a good looking guy she doesn't jump on him.

Muslim women observe HIJAB (covering the head and the body) because Allah has told them to do so.

girls are supposed to cover their heads and their bodies.

As lovely said, it's a sign of modesty and when you wear it, you humble yourself before God. I think that's the higher reason behind it. Also, some times, when you wear it, you feel really beautiful.

women and men wear the hijab, hence men dont walk around naked they have to cover parts of their body too, just like a woman has to cover parts of her body too.i think its just being modest in my opinion, i am modest but i dont cover my hair, this is my hijab.

basically so men don't go ape and get all excited about how a woman looks. If a man sees a woman in a bikini he gets horny and starts to drool and desire the woman. A sin. If a woman is all covered up then there is less temptation

people thinking ..it's God's orders ..yeah listen to your imaginary friend's orders ..so in their opinion God "that's the greatest of all an who masterminded the universe" is busy being sad about women not covering their heads but he got no problem with children dieing of aids ,terminal cancer patients in pain ,people dieing of hunger ,metabolites slowly accumulating in your body leading to your eminent death ,etc.

for those people God is a hair person ..he likes it long when it comes to men's beards but covered when it comes to women ..i wonder what's God's position on pubic hair ..??
it's very weird to me an my problem with it is the propaganda surrounding it ..
