I bumped on YA by accident. There were two displayed questions. One about religion and the other South Africa. I clicked and saved the address. It was only after a month that I went back to join, after reading the answers to both questions.....obviosuly they had already expired......I then started reading other questions.......originally I was more into religion.......a later built a permanent shack in SA section.....I keep coming because despite some tensions now and then......it is a nice forum to discuss issues.......I'm a member of other three forums which are also very interesting.......I manage to remain regular contributor in them coz they are all threads....

I don't know, I think it's just blatant curiosity mixed with a bit of boredom and spiced with the urge to understand my fellow South Africans better.

Right here goes. Like others i stubled accros YA. I love fact finding and now i have descoverd the SAffa section i'm really enjoying it. MR Cash you are a domkop and a mashugawena!! You sound like miss carolina!! Education!! i souport publik edekasion!! but you are misguided!!

I miss my language. being in the UK now for 4 years.

I tend to come back to see what new stuff i can learn. I'm like a spunge. Always absorbing new Info.

I must have clicked on something by vloek last year sometime, that is why it is recorded that I have been a member since 2006. I only became active this year in March through info on the yahoo home page about some or other question. Then I first waltzed thru the gardening and dog sections, before somehow coming upon the SA section. And discovered some good friends. It was my need to converse with people in English that got me hooked. And speaking (communicating) with SAfricans is on a much better level. We understand each other better than any others can (I hope so). Man, sometimes the Germans peeve me off because they do not understand the "play on words". Whenever I use a word out of context (in a joking way), then they feel it is their duty to correct my "bad" use of their language. And I, in turn, think that THEY are totally dof, because they do not have the ability to understand a joke.

I actually found YA by accident,(didnt know it existed) was googling something and a question from YA came up as a reference site , so i checked it out , I then wanted to ask a question(was looking for some music) , so i had to register, etc to ask , i then kept comming back to check if there were any answers , then i came across the SA section , and thats when the addiction started....I come back cos its entertaining and i consider most of you guys as good friends(although i havent met anyone)
In short its just a cool site...with some amazing characters...

It makes me realize that my problems are really minor and I actually can laugh about them. Other people really do have SERIOUS issues.

I came across this site by accident two months ago and since then I'm hooked to it. When our server was down two days ago, I sommer had a bad case of depressions LOL.

I came across this site by exploring, and just reading some feed backs & questions made me more intrigged to the point of being addicted, however one year later is more to see the regular members (as well as new ones), and just relaxing to me.
