y the Military bases were shut down years ago. The soldiers are based in Kuwait, and Qatar, but none are in Saudi. |

A few reasons. the Main reason was fear of an Iraqi invasion of Saudi Arabia. The other reason was because Saudis military is a joke since most officers never even had basic training, they are just there to collect a check. Saudis military is heavily beurocratic and corrupt.
The other issue was the US air force was hired to run Saudis air force because few Saudis were willing to train.
The US is barely in Saudi anymore since the Iraqi government was overthrown. All that is left is personal to train Saudis. |

this really is a litle bit complicated even saudis themselves they dont understand but one thing i should tell u is that, each and every country is taking US as a friend not because they like them , no. just to save themselves from the US fitna. coz if you dont go close to them they will bring problem to you. so one way is to accept what ever they ask you to do. saudia i am sure they are not happy with the US soldiers there but there is nothing they can do . they have to agree to be a bit in peace . look at sadam who was the friend and change they end up killing him , so US like that.
but still those people are hypocrites so anytime that their interest will be over they will turn against saudia.

there are no American troops inside Saudi, if there are prove that to me plz
the last American base was the prince sultan base in al-kharj. The Saudi government respectfully asked the US army leave the base before a couple of months of the Iraqi war.
btw, our interests (we saudis) should be the first priority whatever was the thing. |

well in essense.. it doesnt matter if its muslim on muslim.. christian on christian.. or muslim on christian or visa versa..
the thought is.. the soldiers are doing a job to help stabelize a faltering country without stable leadership.. the insurgents are shooting at the soldiers, so the soldiers defend themselves while trying to restore order in the first place.. so if no one would be shooting, thered be peace (theoretically speaking)... even amongst the good muslims there are bad muslims... those are the ones they are attacking... hopefully!
anyways.. as for US troops being housed in Saudiarabia.. well Saudi and USA are protecting their future interests in the oil reserves.. dont worry, once all the oil goes away, USA will relinquish their chummy friendship and probably go after Canada or Brazil for their enourmous oil reserves next under Saudi's... .. then once they drain the world dry of oil, gold, silver and other precious metals/chemicals.. they will then start selling it back to the world at 1000 times its original price... thats the way the ball bounces in this day and age... |
