not only the Egyptians but all the northern Africa, The african Sahara (Desert) helped to isolate the northern region from the rest of africa, I think they are 2 different races.

It is not about that Egyptians are arab.
Egyptians are Exist for 7000 years,and they have the same feautres since that.
You can say it is a race,and has been in that area for long time.

Egyptians, Algerians, Libyans, Moroccans and Tunisians are Arabs who live in the Northern part of Africa. In fact they are nearer Europe than other parts of Africa. They have light skin, like Saudi Arabians, Syrians, Jordanians, Palestinians, Iranians and Iraqis.

Africa is a huge continent with many diverse ethnic backgrounds. It's the same in Europe for example - people from the UK look very different to French/German/Spanish. It's all about a country's background.

idk....but i think Egyptians don't look African because in old times there were a lot of english,french and turkish ppl that got married to Egyptian ppl and we r the new generations

Egypt has been invaded by so many different nationalities (many of whom ended up marrying locals), which of course had an impact on modern day Egyptians' looks.

The later human migration patterns of the peoples of north Africa are flowing from Asia into Africa (across the Mediterranean coast and down the Nile). Like I'm "American", due to the latest major movement of peoples from Europe and around the world into the Western Hemisphere, (displacing the native peoples).

Modern Egyptians are totally different than the ancient ones, cuz ancient Egyptians mixed by marriage with every nation invaded Egypt.

Egyptians are Middle Eastern in looks , complexion, tastes , love of sea and sun, food , love of life , love of fun , etc
we are Arabs bec we speak arabic and the majority are Moslem .
we dont look like black Africans in any way .
