Israelis have a homeland called Israel, Palestinians don't have one yet.
Some history for you
In 1920 the world organization of nations [League of Nations] proclaimed that Palestine was to be a homeland for the Jews. Around the same time, Lebanon was made a place for Arab Christians, and Syria, and Iraq were to be homelands for Arab Muslims. In 1922 England [the occupying power in Palestine] gave all of Palestine east of the River Jordan [77% of Palestine] to Arab Muslims, forbidding Jews to live there.
Further UN estimates put the property loses of Jews kicked out of Arab countries after 1948 at 10 times those lost by Palestinian Arabs.
Oil was then discovered in the Arab countries. Consequently, "oil diplomacy" was instituted. British foreign policy simply appeased the Arabs. In 1939 the British White Paper banned further immigration to Palestine. Also, with brutal callousness, the United Sates and most nations refused to accept the beleaguered Jews of Europe. Consequently, 6 million Jews were slaughtered in the Holocaust.
How many millions of these hapless victims would have found a haven in Palestine if Britain had not reneged - with the silent consent of the other nations of the world - on its own mandate obligations by banning Jewish immigration? What a heinous, collective crime of history! Lloyd George, the Prime Minister of Great Britain when the Balfour Declaration was issued, went on national radio to call the British 1939 White Paper, "an act of national perfidy which will dishonor the name of Britain."
This time the nations actually denied the Jews any of God's Land and the Lord was angry. Finally, the gentile nations, guilt-ridden after defaulting on their promise since 1922, felt a moral obligation to grant the Jews an independent state. But, unfortunately, the UN Partition Plan of 1947 further reduced the size of the new Israeli State. They partitioned "My Land" and the Lord was angry. .. .
When Israel became an independent State in 1948, armies from six Arab nations invaded the newborn State. Outnumbered 100 to one, Israel's ragtag army pushed back the invaders and took more of its rightful Land. Divine Providence was telling the world something about whose Land it is.

Simply put;
imagine some thugs come and take/occupy your house and put you and your whole family in the basement without any decent living conditions, hardly any water, electricity,...............and sufficient access to usual stuff that any normal family has.
Having said that, also imagine while living in that condition they keep murdering your family members(God forbid) one at a time for objecting to their savageness and unjust barbaric way of treatment while these thugs keep telling your neighbors that, they've paid/bought your house!!??
Think about this analogy for few minutes and there's your answer. |

The zionists do love war but the Palestinians are just trying to throw of the yoke of zionist oppression. Just look at what is happening in Gaza today. |

no, us palestinians, we do not love war. we love our religion and our homeland. and we try to liberate it from the zionists who stole it.
it is palestine and the zionist jews are thieves who stole it. they have no right whatsoever to to come in our land, steal it. and kill our children and fathers and brothers mothers...they are merciless
our children have become orphans and our wives have become widows, our houses demolished and our lives destroyed.
how are we gonna live in peace? they are destroying us...
allow me to quote a jewish user from this section:
"There is a chance for peace in the mid-east when the occupied territories are liberated. When Bethlehem, Shchem, The Sinai, Western Jordan and Southwestern Syria are liberated and returned to The Jewish People, then, maybe, there will be peace. Until then, there are good and proud Jews who will do whatever it takes to liberate their homeland. How can there be peace? "
clearly, the jewish people do not plan on stopping their killings. they apparently want syria, jordan, and more countries. |

It is hard for both people "native people and the new colonist people" to understand that their homeland is for both people like most former British colonies you name it from the USA to South Africa.
Their homeland is the last unsolved colony in the world. |
|

THE TRUTH IS HOLY
|
One of the two major obstacles to peace is the Occupied Territory. When Bethlehem, Shchem, The Sinai, West Jordan and Southwest Syria are liberated and returned to The Jewish People, then there will be a chance for peace. Until then, how can you honestly expect there to be peace?
To Anon: I do not mind being used as the example of what good Jews believe but are often afraid to say. I understand that you really believe that we stole the land from you. You are wrong, but you are sincere in your belief and your compatriots have caused the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives in the furtherance of that belief. We really believe that you stole the lands I mentioned from us. And we are correct. And starting very soon, we will begin to fight back against your terror. |

Israelis have no homeland. Only a promis land. Israelis can be Israelis and not persacuted for that. But the Land dispute is why their is no peace for most of it. |

The simple answer to that is that Arabs in general have contemptuous arrogance towards Jews, and feel that all Jews regardless of shade, should be second class citizens unless they convert to Islam but even then, as the Hebrew descended Muslims of Saudi Arabia demonstrate, its not enough. The only way to have the trust of an Arab Muslim community is to be BORN an Arab muslim, the turds are racist, egocentric and group centric even with other Muslims. Even though it occurs more than before among young people, it is still ecceedingly rare for an Arab girl to marry a non-Arab muslim. Often times its not a girl at all; it is often widows or divorcees in their 30's that no Arab wants, that marry non-Arab muslims. Arab men like to pluck them fresh what can I say, and for the right price tag, or social status, most virginal Arab women are more than willing.
Now given that culture of arrogance you can not expect them to have, or show respect towards anyone, least of all Jews, of ANY shade. Frankly I admire my ancestors; I am an Iraqi Jew, and I have nothing short of admiration for their great intelligence. We are talking people who survived amidst the Arabs, from the time of ancient Babylon. Amidst the freaking Arabs, whose Koran teachs them that Jews are apes and swine, they survived and lived there for that long. To me that's amazing.
Then again it has to do largely with our ancestry; many of us Iraqi Jews descend from Daniel the prophet, and Arabs will not touch descendants of prophets UNLESS its politically convenient for them. For instance there are many more people in the Arab world who can claim descent from Muhamad, the prophet of Islam, not just the hashemites. However when the Iraqi people turned on them when they slaughtered the royal family of Iraq, they did not hunt down and kill every single descendant of their prophet, only the royal family. What I am trying to say is that descent gives you SOME protection against Arab depredations if you descend from a "great man," but it doesn't make you untouchable.
Even when the armies of Islam invaded Iraq, Iraqi Jews were allowed to continue being Jewish, precisely because of their descent from Daniel the prophet. Other groups of middle eastern Jews though were not so lucky, and even with our ancestry, Iraqi Jews, from the days Islam took over the place, were only tolerated, not actively liked or accepted. King David's reputation far exceeds him simply being an ancient Hebrew hero, or even a king; his rule, brought peace to large regions of the middle east and it was largely thanks to him, that the Ishmaelites of his time period enjoyed peaceful trade caravans.
David's son Solomon in fact employed many Ishmaelite Beduin tribesman to protect his own caravans from marauders, ask any Arab. In fact, some tribes of Saudi Arabia are proud of the fact that their ancestors helped defend the "caravans of Suleiman." In gratitude for their loyal service, Solomon gifted the Ishmaelites with his finest horses, hence the birth of the "Arab horse." Horse breeders the world over have yet to determine the breeding secrets of the Arabs which, believe it or not they WILL kill for. The reason the Arabian horse is unmatched in the world of horses, in terms of overall quality as far as horses are concerned, is because my ancestor Solomon bred them.
Solomon was indeed known for his wisdom, and if you want to see an example of Solomon's wisdom, you only need to look at the Arabian horse and what a well made creature it is.
However in Arab society, everyone descends from this "great man" or that, meaning that within that society there is a lot to prove in your lifetime before you earn similar respect, and while some deference is given to ancestry, it is not the same as with the noble houses of Europe. Again, the fact that Ali was married to Fatima, that did not stop what would become Sunni Muslims from cutting off his head. Nor did it stop Iraqis from slaughtering Iraq's royal family, whose female ancestor was Fatima.
Its extremely complicated, and the root of it all is a combination of severely limited resources, especially water, along with deepseated arrogance on both sides. Ashkenazim, even though their blood is so thin many are not even recognizable as Jews, many, do not even consider non-Jews human, misrahi Jews they consider as barely human, and Arabs, as subhuman. Arabs though, have equal contempt for Jews. Imagine, to get an idea, if black people of the 30's were just as racist towards whites, as whites were towards them, instead of trying to be accepted by larger white society.
Put people with big egos in a room, and nothing gets done, you end up with conflict an ego clash, multiply that factor times several million and you get a clearer picture of the mess that is the middle east. |

It is very complicated, but basically, there has been too much animosity for Palestinians and Israelis to live in one state. The only solution is the two state solution, but achieving that is not simple. Some Palestinians reject it, as do some Israelis. The Palestinians who reject the idea believe all of Israel should be returned to the Palestinians. The Israelis who reject the idea either believe, for religious reasons, that the West Bank should be part of Israel, or they don't believe a Palestinian state would live peacefully besides Israel, but would rather try to conquer it.
Also, issues of borders, Jerusalem and its holy sites, and the question of the return of Palestinian refugees into Israel, are still in dispute between the two sides and it isn't easy to reconcile the differences between them.
Anonymous: You take one quote from an extreme right wing messianic hawk and make it out to be the mainstream Israeli view. It certainly isn't. Only a tiny eccentric minority adheres to those views. |

You know what gets me about these hundreds of thousands dead at Israeli hands?
Why when one dies they have a party rushing them on to Paradise as martyrs Then meet the press and cry how they are under genocidal attack.
They do the crimes and then cry oppression when they are caught and punished.
Death and killing is the very tenant their false religion calls for.
Pal supporters ignore the fact that the destruction caused by retaliation is caused by the tank shell returned for a rocket.
They don't seem to realize that when the Muslim has killed us all off they will come to them with an offer. Convert or die.
They cry about the mistreated Pal and ignore the death and suffering Islam brings to every corner of the world. This is lunacy. Yet everyone of them will tell you how smart they are.
Why can't the Pals go live with their cousins in the lands they came to Israel from? Because the Arab nations have plenty of rabble of their own and won't have these people in their homes.
I can't recall of a time in history where a people degenerated to so little from so much.
There is enough arab oil to feed the world but not enough left over for charity to the Pals. Why because while Islam is out committing criminal actions the world can be focused on the suffering Pal. You can bet Arab oil paid for it too.
No one loves these people are they would try to help change their thinking and lifestyle. Set up trade agreements and clean out the radicals in their school systems.
Pal supporters today are against everything decent and worthwhile in this world until they have to give up their own comfort. |

To answer your question, you have to understand that the Israelis want peace more then anything and have tried to negotiae with the Palestinians numerous times, but the only way the palestinians know how to negotiate is with terror.Israel on the other hand tries to protect its citizens by self defence...so thats why there is no peace yet.
Though reconciled to the creation of a Palestinian state, and hopeful that it will coexist peacefully, Israelis still see such an entity as a threat to their security. Even after returning much of the West Bank and Gaza and allowing the Palestinians to govern themselves, terrorism against Israelis has continued. So far, no amount of concessions by Israel has been sufficient to prompt Arafat to end the violence. This has not reassured Israelis; on the contrary, it has made them more reluctant to give up additional territory for a Palestinian state.
Israelis also fear that a Palestinian state will become dominated by Islamic extremists and serve as a staging area for terrorists. The greatest danger, however, would be that a Palestinian state could serve as a forward base in a future war for Arab nations that have refused to make peace with Israel.
"In Israeli hands, the West Bank represents a tremendous defensive asset whose possession by Israel deters Arab foes from even considering attack along an 'eastern front,'" a report by the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies notes. Today, an Arab coalition attacking from east of the Jordan "would face very difficult fighting conditions" because "it would be fighting uphill from the lowest point on the face of the earth: the Dead Sea and the Rift Valley that runs below it." The mountain ranges in the West Bank constitute "Israel's main line of defense against Arab armies from the east. |

The problem is that the palestinians do not want to just have their own country next to Israel but to take over all of Israel and drive her people out. Simply put, Israel, for very understandable reasons does not wish to commit national suicide. Peace will only come when the palestinians accept their neighboring country Israel. |

israel would love to have peace. unfortunately, it is not just up to them.
israel HAS made peace with egypt, jordan, and anyone else willing. some countries and some groups are just not willing. not yet. so israel has to defend itself until the other countries choose peace. |

It says in the bible that there won't be peace in isreal untll Christ comes back. It has been true for to long to be just a coincadence. Isreal is so small and even though everyone hates them and you can't go a day without seeing them in the news, it has to be god keeping them alive which furthers my point that the bibles creditable and isreal will keep getting attacked untill Christs return. |
