the research said that girls with hijab experience the same rate of sexual harassment as non-veiled girls

i oppose using such results to say hijab is not working. it is the same approach of people who say "we don't pray because drug dealers do."!!!! and the essence of hijab is not about decreasing sexual harrasment it is a way of life and practicing islam

I also oppose using these results and limit to it only lack of manners or to miss-use subconsciously as a self-destructive behavior against our respect to our self image as EGYPTIANS

for me i find it indicates public economic frustration rather just lack of manners. on the personal level it actually indicates his financial stress and his career frustration,...

you can NOT find someone who is doing any kind of harassment toward any girl and at the same time proud of his job and financially secure about his basic needs which include ability to marriage and has some kind of career stability that promotes him for better life income by time.

Hmmm Any girl is harassed.. veiled or not! I once saw a guy saying to a woman wearing the burka 'yamo 3oyoon garee2a' (such daring eyes).. Some guys are just pigs like that... no matter how much you cover they'd still find something to say.. they just have to comment! Its like a syndrome!

because girls wearing hijab are much more than girls not wearing hijab, so if all girls not wearing hijab betet3akes and 50% of girls wearing hijab beyt3akso, still the girls wearing hijab elly beyt3akso will be more than the girls not wearing hijab..

For 2 reasons,
1st, many who wear hijab, wear a head cover and the rest of their bodies are covered with stretch material that show every detail in their upper and lower body. In this sense they show even more than what a non-mohajaba wears.
2nd, those who do the mo3akasat do it for the sake of pleasure. They see in front of them a female figure and their antenas tell them that a mo3akasa is due here.

I don't agree at all with what are you saying, try to be with a girl who doesn't wear hijab and you will see how men staring at them.
May the research you mentioned concluded that women who were Hijab suffer from sexual harassment because they consider each one who just put head scarf should not suffer from sexual harresments
If they think like that,they are wrong, only proper Hijab can protect women.
In my opinion the majority of women at least in cairo don't wear the hijab according to Islamic teachings.

Personal experience: I was firstly wearing head scarf but not wearing loose enough trousers or skirts, short blouses, I was suffering from men sexual harassment and their staring, but after God Guide me to the proper Hijab according to islamic teachings, I have to say almost nothing bothers me now

Not All ya Gigi,the people i know most that are like flirts,are people who don't wear hijab,but i do know a couple who do wear hijab,that wear extremely tight clothes,and flirt with many guys,i heard in michigan(USA) there are allot of girls that wear hijab that take it off in front of guys,flirt,have boyfriends,and manny manny more things that i could never imagine that a friend of mine told me.online.and shes from michigan.

I'm not sure if there is a real research with that conclusion. It may give some indications, but no way to measure it accurately. Even if it's true, that would mean that the majority are wearing (hegab) veil, so it's normal they are harassed more.
Another way it may also mean that many of the guys feels they have a positive response or may be it will lead to a relation, so they concentrate on this type they like.

My conclusion is : Many of the guys believes (falsely) that girls likes to hear words like that. Actually there are few girls feels (Falsely) they are attractive or normal this way.

it's a very bad thing in our society that guys just want to do like others and some girls prefer to be the victim (also like others)

I don't think that.because now in Egypt the guys don't make any difference between who wear crap or not but the problem is on the clothes you wear not on wearing crap or not. TAKE CARE of your self.
