It looks to me as though many of these are of Basque, Spanish, Irish, and other nationalities. All terrorists are terrorists because they have a real belief in their cause and believe it is worth killing for and dying for. Now, I do not condone their acts or beliefs, I'm just telling you why they do these things: they are usually either poor or have been denied something...land, monetary compensation, rights, etc. that historically they believe is theirs.

It's really a shame that war and more terrorist acts seem to be the answer of the day instead of trying to resolve the underlying problems.

America is only the latest in a long line of countries to discover the painful and indiscriminate results of terrorist acts, both home-grown and foreign. However, there have been many acts of terrorism over a number of decades (starting around WW 1) that do not fit into your "Profiling for Dummies 101" view of the world. Shame on you.
