Depends where you look for your friends ! I have few close friends ...friends who you know would stand with you through tough times. Most of the ones I can count on are from our Church...
Plenty of acquaintences....not the same !
As for my internet friends , my y/a friends mean a lot to me .In a very short time we have formed a strong bond ...formed genuine friendships & yes ..the internet is a form of shelter .
A haven from the realities of day to day life .That's why it is an annoyance to have all of the drama that's been going on in the last week or so ! |

Partially, because most of the “good members of society” (many societies) leave their respective countries to find better job/career opportunities elsewhere…(not just here in Lebanon)..
Meantime, the thing I have noticed is that a lot of people don’t find the “right people” because they are not honest or clear with themselves…what I mean is that some people tend to hang out with the people they think are cool,fun,hip, (whatever the expression) they hang out with the people they wish to be.....that they think they would be better off socializing with….you have to be true to thyself and know where you fit in.
Also some people simply need to be more open-minded..more accepting of others to truly appreciate a social circle….
That’s my food-for-thought anyway….
And remember kids....be cool...stay in school :-)
