Why is it that i almost never see a top answerer answering questions?

Once I was top answerer in the cat. Language and Saudi Arabia, just by having 18 and 11 best answers, Then I noted that there were others who had more numbers of best answers than me, and Yahoo was not updating the top answerer.
Later on I came to know that Yahoo want to divert my attention from the category of R&S, so they keep me as top answerer in other catagories, delebrately.
So I stopped answering in my top answerer catagories and selected R&S, permanently.

I have no idea. I'm a top answerer in Washington, DC and answer them every day.

And I see it all the time (including outside their topics). Maybe you're not looking? Maybe your interface isn't showing the badge?

I answer plenty of questions. If you don't keep answering, you lose your top answerer badge.

OK, just kidding. You are right about some, but not all. For example sistablu and hasafer are always around. Fozio is the real mystery to me.

one thing else i guess the top answere in egypt section is not even egyptian , and that is a shame , he used to answer geographic and touristic question , not the 5arf we talk about

yes you're right...if you really wanna get high blood pressure go see the top answerer in R&S..not only you dnt see him answering questions....he has NEVER asked a question....

I don't know , I have asked this question to myself many times, ,specially the top answer here in Egypt category, but I promise you if I become a top answer you will see me everyday:)

yeah i was going to post this question...i never ever seen Fozio answering anything and he is a top contributer...so wt's wrong?

Hey you must have your eyes shut!
I answer every question in this section that I feel I may have some form of relative imput or opinion about.
I also notice many other Top Answerer's here as well, with the absence of Fozio. I haven't seen him around for a long while yet I notice he is still Top Answerer in Egypt.
Come to think about it he has never really shown his face and interact with us at all. Ever!

I don't count anymore even though I have retained my Top Answerer tag, as I registered my account when I lived in Australia.
When they changed the format I was turfed out of the Top Ten Top Answerer spot in the Egypt section.
At one stage it was Fozio one week and myself the other.
