Kaffir is actually an Arabic word for heathen.Research it if you want.It was a term picked up by Europeans during the slave trade to indicate black people in Africa with no religion and culture which is not true and therefore offensive.It became slander used by racists.
Witgatboer comes from the fact that your *** is white and your forefathers were most likely farmers. Farmers were and still are sometimes seen as backward people which is also not true.Therefore it is also used as a racist slander and is offensive.
