I am muslim.. I dont eat pork.. I would just however tell you if you gave the gift.. Thanks, but I dont eat this... and Id probably ask if you want it back (hope that wouldnt effend you) or ask if you mind me donating it to the homeless shelter or local food bank....
I personally for example.. If im from a country that eats, hmm? for ex dog meat.. I certainly wouldnt come up to you and offer you a dog brisket for your birthday.. or Rat cakes....
