Seems I've missed some action.

Any way, Tabatha we might have different views regarding some issues in the Middle East, but I do respect the civilized way you lead the debate through your Questions and Answers.

Some people though (on both sides) show immaturity by being purely emotional and speaking before thinking (that is if they think at all). But their childish talk must not affect us... I would just suggest treat them as you would any naughty kid in the street, either by ignoring or disciplining him. At the end of the day you won't be able to change their minds. Its a shame that those people have such a negative effect on all of us, not just in Y/A but also in real life.

But you can clearly see that those people are not in their right state of mind from their style, not only do they speak nonsense but they also tend to heavily rely on bad language and insults... the typical arguments of the ignorant.

So cheer up... they are not worth your time.

You have many people (including me) that really appreciate your contribution to this forum, even if I don't always agree with you. It's clear you have peace as a motive and I wish there were more people like you in this world. In fact, if more Jews and Arabs had your outlook, I think there would actually be peace in that region!

Keep on keepin' on and ignore the rude, selfish, unfair remarks. They're not worth our energy or time.

Tabatha - there is nothing more Jewish a thing to do that to bring people together and try to promote understanding and peace. At least that was the Judaism I was brought up with - all the rest is just commentary.

because these jews do not want peace, but i know that Judiasim does NOT teach violence and hatred, these are just some ppl who need to learn their own religion a bit before calling others "not jewish enough" thats why they are telling u that ur no a jew

I think you are one of those people who is trying to bring Sanity in this insane World. You put Humanity before anything and you realize the value of tolerance, compassion and Love. They whover they may be prefer to go to their homes turn on the news and think bad things,sterotypical things about the other side-it goes both ways.

Atleast you turned off the CNN and started the diologue for one.

If i had to describe anything you have done i wouldn't describe as you bending over for terroists, Ivri must think in sterotypes because all you have done in reality is reach out to people of a different culture then you'r own and looked for common ground between the two faiths, so you can see similarities instead of dis-similarties to push the peoples apart.

On the whole you'r efforts are very good and you have done well to ease the tension.

I never insulted you, nor your religion, nor the Israelis. Those who said that you are bending over backwards to show that you accept the Islamic terrorism. First, not all Muslims are terrorists and at least the ones whom your are debating with on YA aren't. If they think we are terrorists let them specify one response from a Muslim on Yahoo answers that Insults the Jews or Judaism. I bet anybody can.
Second, those who say you are against the Torah probably don't know anything about the Torah themselves. The Torah commanded the Jews to respect the Gentiles and never wrong them in speech and be always nice to them and that's what you are doing not the opposite that some people do and want you to do.
Those who insult you, don't want peace and that is why I got disappoined the other day, for exaclty the same reason. You and me are trying to open peaceful debates between Muslims and Jews and we always get people who insult us and never appreciate what we are doing. I just think that I was wasting my time. Neither Muslims nor Jews want peace. Ok, let us keep fighting and I don't care anymore. Is this better? Why should I make myself tired if nobody wants to listen to me and respect what I am doing? I see some people who really like what we are doing but most of them don't. That is why three of my peaceful questions were deleted last week!!
I think I should go and study better than wasting mytime in a place that is full of haters.

Some of the people on YA just like to put people down for the fun of it. Just look at the answers to this question and see the thumbs down on some of the answers. Some of the people are just bigots. Some are just idiots.
Do not quit trying. Remember the most important thing you learned in kindergarten "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me".
You are one of the most kind people I have seen here on YA and while I do not answer all your posts, I really enjoy reading them and their answers. You keep your head proudly up and keep on going. In this world of hate it is sometimes hard to be proud of what you are, but you should be proud because you have made me prouder.

I'm sorry to be the one to break the news to you, but islam
demands as a prerequisite to the resurection ,the destruction of israel and wiping of all jews from the face of the earth.
this is not somthing that i am happy to report to you but as a friend i think you need to know . while in the middle east i had a near miss with people that would have loved to have me on vidio on al- jazzera i just thought that you might need to know before you allow yourself to be simalarly exposed

I can understand that youre taken aback however i also understand Alot of jews view points. The extreme pain caused to countless jews in Israel by muslims who blow themselves up can never be undone. Theyve lost family members, friends, and many people are disabled for life. Many of their soldiers are being held in prison (for no reason at all aside from them being Jewish) If they cannot give us the understanding youre giving them is that fair?

I think this thread is really hilarious.

Here we have Jews fighting each other over who can be nicer to Muslims, at the expense of being nicer to Jews.

If this is indicative of the attitude of the greater Israeli and Jewish community, then we have won without firing a shot.

As an Arab -- but one who is realistic -- I could never understand your attempts to downgrade your own people in the hopes of making peace.

This just makes you look weak and foolish in the eyes of the proud Muslim people.

Self-effacement is rarely productive, but you certainly try hard.

It will, in the long run, make it easy for the Arabs to defeat Israel.
