Why people in the past were good and in the present arent anymore?

I dont agree with hope this time , and I'm sorry for that ,

there is few good people here in Egypt, in the past I used to tell myself that good people are hidden , but the truth is they are vanishing, u know why ??

bcoz of the bad system which make u change ur thoughts and manners,

bcoz of the hate between people.

bcoz Egyptian families don't care anymore abt their children as in the past ,

bcoz the media change alot of people minds,

20-30 years ago , what was Egyptian kids watch:
- Bogy we tamtam
- tom & jerry
- Snow white, cinderella, ..etc

Now, what are they watching:
- Melody tata7ada el malal
- Video clips and their parents laugh
And each kid is wearing strange cloths and talk like an adult and hloding a mobile phone , Which make me wonder , how the future will be in Egypt!!!!!

where do you see that people in the past were good? there is nothing new under the sun. anything done bad or good has already been done before. we are all sinners, always were and always will be until God, Christ Jesus comes back to bring peace to the earth, by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior who died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins, for the forgiveness of your sins, calling on the name of the Lord will save you, this is the only good that there is, through Jesus' righteousness, His perfect Sacrifice, since they used to offer bulls and goats for sacrifice but when Jesus came the sinless flesh, He paid the price for your sins and for everyone who has ever lived. God so loved the world He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life!! That is love.

Well l think I understand your question...common people in the past had more kind feelings and maybe were more innocent. That's because people knew each other - ex. they knew their neighbors, their co-workers etc. But in general people have been the same through the years, the time and facts were different back then but the motive was the same! Power ( profit,selfishness, utilization of the masses) over the wicker groups of people! You can see that history repeats itself! ( actually people do the history repetition)

i tot u meant their are more scientist from the past... well like yesteryears there were so many things that they dont have yet like telephone, electricity, cars, airplanes, etc. so when they invented it became so much useful until now... what the people today did was just develop that inventions to meet the demand of people today.

People in the past were both good and bad. People in the present are both good and bad.

People have always been good and bad, but people back then had the ability to kill someone for something much more easily in the case of something noble. I.E. The code of the Samurai, Religious Purposes etc.

I figure if that applied now, people might be a little nicer knowing they could die for offending someone's honor, or religion, or whatever.

People were definitely not better back then though, and no where near as accepting of other customs.

people in the past did some remarkably cruel things to each other. it's only because of modern media that today's cruelties are made known more readily than they would have been otherwise.
