Well given a project of that scale, there is no way you could avoid union labor. With union labor, you have to pay prevailing wage, so the project would surely go over budget quickly. Because you are using union labor, you have to deal with the amount of time they waste. Ever heard of the 12 drop rule? If it starts sprinkling, they throw down their union card, if they count more than 12 rain drops on the card, they shut down for the day because they get half a days pay anyway. You would have zoning problems, your blueprints would probably have to be redone many times. Osha is probably going to pop in several times for inspections. Then you will probably have to deal with "nimby(not in my back yard)" protestors.. If you dont use union labor, then you have to deal with the union protestors. Too many hoops to jump through.. Our dead are better off in a cemetary |

Pyramid building in ancient Egypt put a huge drain on the economy and manpower resources that were needed to accomplish such magnificent constructions.
By the time of the New Kingdom 1550 BCE the pyramids were already considered to be ancient structures whose actual purpose was lost to folklore. |

Nobody is willing to carry stones that heavy, nobody is willing to pay for such labor. At that time it was a religious activity. |

Pyramids were made in those days in Egypt, while Pharaos were ruling. During those days, they were believing that they were son of God, so they will get their life back after dying. So they were choosing place and building pyramids wherein ruling Pharao will be burried along with all their belongings. In some cases, pet animals of Pharaos were burried along with him. Pyramids were not build these days because people like pharaos do not exist any more. Although, Egyptian makes lots of money by tourists visiting Egypt just to see and appreciate beauty of pyramid and temples built by big big stones in those days. Outside you see pyramid, you may think inside you may will to go up. This is just reverse. Inside pyramid, this is all underground.
Do you like Pyramids? |
