Why should the Israelis own Israel?

I have to do a letter to President H.E. Srjgan Kerim of the U.N., and I'm researching why the Israelis should own Israel, and I've been googling varisous things, but can't find resons why they should own it. Does anybody have somewhere where there are reasons for the Israelis owning Israel? And please, read this entire question befor eposting rude thigns like "Go get mommy, tell her to do it." or "Well, there IS a new invention called Google." I've tried google and can't find what I'm looking for, so please, no rude replies.

There is no credibility whatsoever to the jewish claim to sole ownership of Palestine, also known to four billion Christians and Muslims as the Holy Land. The founders of the current regime - Moshe Shertok,Chaim Wietzman,Golda Meir and David Ben-Gurion ( real name Gruen) were all Russian atheists of Ashkenazi ancestry; today more than 80% of the population consists of Russian atheists. They claim to be descendants of the ancient Hebrews,a claim for which there is no evidence whatsoever. They claim that Palestine was once upon a time a Jewish Kingdom, yet all ancient historians from Herodotus to Strabo make no reference to such a kingdom in their studies of the region. From the myth of an ancient jewish kingdom to the current claim that Ashkenazi from Russia are descended from Hebrews, there is nothing about this construct that is not utterly fraudulent. Why are they there? Because Lional Rothschild bailed out the British government in 1917 and in return the Rothschilds were promised Palestine as a post-war reward. The British honored this commitment, filling the region with hundreds of thousands of largely Russian ex-jews who then declared themselves the government and proceeded to drive out the Christians and the Muslims. This process of ethnic cleansing continues to this day.

Palestine was stolen by Zionists, as a Jew, I am offended! my father is Russian, and he was attacked by a Zionist bc he didn't want to go to Israel! ever since that, I have been against the Creation of Israel.
i think we should give the land back to the Natives, the Palestinians.

COBRA
Write to him telling him that God gave it to them and if they do not get it we will all go to hell.
You will never find such garbage anywhere expect in the fabrication web sites the Israelis made.

My dear, no one denies the right of the Jews to have a country of their own.
Do you remember when they fought and won the war against the Arabs a few decades back?
The things is, that since then they have been proven inadequate to rule a country.
It's up to us to help them become more sophisticated, more "civilized".
The situation in Palestine has gone beyond any logical explanation.
Israel as it is right now, is not more than a "stain" of our human culture.
We, the civilized people living in our civilized countries must open the eyes of these Jews and make them really see what they have actually created on that land.
I am sure once we succeed in doing so, the Jews will realize of their horrible mistakes and all of those bad judgment moves and try to rectify this themselves.
Actually I still believe in them. Unless I am wrong of course and a new holocaust is imminent thus. Unfortunately.
Greetings

Sarah Silverchitz
I am Jewish and I am proud of being Jewish.
I don't need no free "birthright" trips to prove anything.
I hate what the Israelis are doing in Middle East.
They will succeed to turn every single Goy against us and that's not fair.
Both my father and my uncle always tell me to not get involved with Israel and stay away from it as much as I can.
So, I don't think it's right for the Israelis to own Israel.
That land corrupts our Hebrew Roots and the Jewish soul too.
Thanks but no thanks.
Shalom.

There is no justification whatsoever for the continuing occupation of Palestine by Europeans, for the most part atheists. The Palestinians have a right to self-determination. They have a right to return to their homeland and to compensation for a slow-motion holocaust that has killed more than million Palestinians and deprived them of their country, their homes and the peace and dignity.

Jurgen
You mean Palestine. It's been known as Palestine since at least 500 B.C. when the Greek historian Herodotus wrote his "Histories"; incidentally he makes no mention any "jewish kingdom" but he refers a great deal to Syria and Palestine. The jews have no realistic claim to it and in any event their appalling record of racism,mass-murder and ethnic cleansing leads to only one conclusion: they should be transferred back to the EU.

Brynn
They have no right to it at all. They should not. Read the recently published "Palestine Inside Out". That should answer a lot of your questions.

larry_lime
The Israelis should own Israel because it's theirs...after all, whose was it BEFORE Islam came along...obviously it belonged to the Jews from whom Jesus emerged, since Christianity or Islam could NOT have existed without Judaism having been here in Israel.

In the Jewish holy book, God told the Jews that they were special, but he forgot why, and they could have israel if they believed and trused in him and any prophets that were sent to them. That was thousands of years ago. In around 400 AD the Palestinians won Israel by force and named it Palestine. Its been like that until 1948, until the UN realized that they have to give the jews something before they loose their support for not helping out in the holocaust which they knew about from the beginning.

So the Jews took palestine and kicked all the palestinians out to a small place just north of them. The palestinians werent too happy that the Jews get to take their country that their ancestors have been in for over 1600 years, so they form a small organization called the Hezbola. They attack israel in small numbers, and end up with the entire israeli army on them and israel annexes half of palestine.

Now a days, Palestinians are forced to stand in lines just to get into Israel to work, worship, ect. Some of them are "suspected" as hostile and basically shot on site.

My opinion should be evident, but I believe that The State of Israel should be called palestine and both Jews and Islams should be able to live there, visit there, and worship there since both of them have that area as the most sacred area of the entire planet.

Also, BB, you are obviously watching too much news. The news is extremely bias to Israel because of the governments support.

Mr Z
what kind of question is that?

do americans own america? (well, china kinda does but that's for a different section.)
do saudis own saudi arabia?
everyone owns their own country.

and if you ask that question of israel and no one else, that is anti-semitism.

Citizen for a Just Peace
There is no reason. Zionist occupation of Palestine violated the UN Charter on the right of all peoples to political self-determination.

Kosher Girl
Actually the first Jew to die from Israel was killed by Mosad for protesting against Zionists from Russia.

I can not remember his name but they tried to claim he was shot by a terrorist which back then was proved wrong after a investigation,

I am for Israel, a Jewish state for the Jewish people but lets get something straight here, i do not need to lie and call it a democracy.

They should not; they are vicious and cruel to it's inhabitants and seek to drive them out. As noted by others they are predominately atheists and yet this is a land that is sacred to three-fourths of the world. Yet neither Muslims nor Christians are permitted to migrate there. It is a savage and brutal regime, the worst of earth when it comes to both military aggression and racism.

Shyster Rich ex-Jew
Yes, yes, yes,
The Israelis had their chance to run that place but they blew it. Big time!
That's my opinion, OK?
I just don't like Israel.
You got a problem with that?
I don't.

One good reason, out of many, is that Israel is the only Jewish state there is.

"1) the Jewish people settled and developed the land; 2) the international community granted political sovereignty in Palestine to the Jewish people; 3) the territory was captured in defensive wars and 4) God promised the land to the patriarch Abraham"

November 29, 1947
UN vote on resolution 181, which approved the partition of the western part Palestine into a predominately Jewish state and a predominately Arab state. (It is vital to recall that the UN partition plan referred to western Palestine, to underscore that in 1921 the eastern part was ripped off the Jewish National Home by the British Government and handed over to the then Emir Abdullah.)

The partition plan was approved by 33 to 13, with 10 abstentions.

The 33 countries that cast the “Yes” vote were: Australia, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Byelorussia, Canada, Costa Rica, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Haiti, Iceland, Liberia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine, Union of South Africa, USSR, USA, Uruguay, Venezuela. (Among other countries, the list includes the US, the three British Dominions, all the European countries except for Greece and the UK, but including all the Soviet-block countries.)

The 13 countries that chose the Hall of Shame and voted “No” were: Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, Greece, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Yemen. (Ten of these are Moslem countries; Greece has the special distinction of being the only European country to have joined the Hall of Shame.)

The ten countries that abstained are: Argentina, Chile, China, Colombia, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Honduras, Mexico, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia.

On November 30, 1947, the day following the vote, the Palestinian Arabs murdered six Jews in a bus making its way to Jerusalem, and proceeded to murder another Jew in the Tel-Aviv - Jaffa area. This was a prelude to a war that claimed the lives of 6,000 Jews, or 1% of the total Jewish population in 1948. This toll is the per capita equivalent of today’s Canada losing 300,000 lives, or the US losing 3,000,000.

The object of the war, launched by the Arabs in the former Palestine and the armies of Egypt, Transjordan, Syria and Lebanon (with help from other Arab countries), was to "throw the Jews into the sea". As the partition map indicates, however, rather than annihilate the Jewish population, the Arabs ended up with less territory than they would have gained by peaceful means.

In addition to the bloodshed in nascent Israel, immediately after the UN vote, Arabs attacks their Jewish neighbours in a number of Arab countries, the murders in Syria’s Aleppo being the best known.

i would say the number one answer is because without Israel, i'm not sure i would feel safe as a jew, even living in america. having a jewish state is a way to prevent another persecution of our people. throughout history the jews have always been discriminated against and persecuted (the holocaust, inquisition, egypt, to name a few examples). if anything were to happen, i know i have a home halfway around the world that i can turn to. it's the only country in the world where jews are the majority, where you can walk into a restaurant and know it's kosher, where there's only a six day work week to respect the sabbath.

another reason is because the holiest place in judaism is the western wall in jerusalem, but this argument isn't as strong because some of the holiest places in islam and christianity are also there.

Israel always belonged to the jewish people, will always belongs to the jewish people and will always belong.“Nobody does Israel any service by proclaiming its 'right to exist.'

Israel's right to exist, like that of the United States, Saudi Arabia and 152 other states, is axiomatic and unreserved. Israel's legitimacy is not suspended in midair awaiting acknowledgement....

There is certainly no other state, big or small, young or old, that would consider mere recognition of its 'right to exist' a favor, or a negotiable concession.”

— Abba Eban
A common misperception is that all the Jews were forced into the Diaspora by the Romans after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the year 70 C.E. and then, 1,800 years later, suddenly returned to Palestine demanding their country back. In reality, the Jewish people have maintained ties to their historic homeland for more than 3,700 years.

The Jewish people base their claim to the Land of Israel on at least four premises: 1) the Jewish people settled and developed the land; 2) the international community granted political sovereignty in Palestine to the Jewish people; 3) the territory was captured in defensive wars and 4) God promised the land to the patriarch Abraham.

Even after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and the beginning of the exile, Jewish life in the Land of Israel continued and often flourished. Large communities were reestablished in Jerusalem and Tiberias by the ninth century. In the 11th century, Jewish communities grew in Rafah, Gaza, Ashkelon, Jaffa and Caesarea.

The Crusaders massacred many Jews during the 12th century, but the community rebounded in the next two centuries as large numbers of rabbis and Jewish pilgrims immigrated to Jerusalem and the Galilee. Prominent rabbis established communities in Safed, Jerusalem and elsewhere during the next 300 years. By the early 19th century — years before the birth of the modern Zionist movement — more than 10,000 Jews lived throughout what is today Israel.1 The 78 years of nation-building, beginning in 1870, culminated in the reestablishment of the Jewish State.

Israel's international "birth certificate" was validated by the promise of the Bible; uninterrupted Jewish settlement from the time of Joshua onward; the Balfour Declaration of 1917; the League of Nations Mandate, which incorporated the Balfour Declaration; the United Nations partition resolution of 1947; Israel's admission to the UN in 1949; the recognition of Israel by most other states; and, most of all, the society created by Israel's people in decades of thriving, dynamic national existence.

The reason why Israel was created was because the Jews wanted a nation to flee to in case another holocaust happens. Jews have been persecuted throughout history from the Romans, Spanish Inquisition, the Assyrians, the Holocaust, just to name a few. So after the Holocaust happened and six million Jews were brutally murdered, the Jews decided it was the last straw and created a nation and an army to protect them.

As many people know, the Torah (Bible) makes clear that G-d gave the Land of Israel to the Jews. What is less well known is that Israel belongs to the Jews also according to the Muslim Koran. Here are 2 perspectives on this point.

FACT: This land, the land of israel was always the home ,if not physical then spiritual of the Jewish people.the fact that there were many wars that exiled the Jews to different parts of the world doesn't mean that we should forget where our fathers were born.

So the great Jewish poet Yehuda Ha Levi wrote in his famous poem in the 11th century:"My heart in the east and myself in the end of the west "
.he was then in Spain and talking about the longing to go west to The Land Of Israel.
And who wrote that Israel consists of 80% Russian Atheist Jews is a liar .Israel has 20% population of Arabs who get equal rights as the Jews,68.8% was born in Israel,21.6% in Europe,9.6% in Asia and north Africa.of those Jews 52% are religious to some degree .only 5% of Jews in Israel are Atheist by definition.

FACT: There was never a state called Palestine, there were no people called Palestinians .they are just the Arabs that gathered here from the many wars this land had suffered from.in fact this territory was called always as south Syria.

It was desert and swamps(look up the travels of Mark Twain to Palestine) in this land before the Jews that came from Europe revived this land .now Israel is green and one of the most advanced countries in Hi-Tech(Intel has 3 manufacturing sites outside of the US and two of them in Israel).
In fact ,the Arabs of Palestine only started to have real national aspiration after the establishment of the state of Israel.they had no real identity or history as a group before.
Despite it all, the Jews agreed to divide the land and in exchange we got a massive war in 1948 from all the Arab countries, the Arabs lost and their territory reduced little more.they weren't satisfied with that so they got beaten in 1967 in 6 days and lost the whole land plus the Golan heights plus the Sinai peninsula .

When will peace come? when the Arabs will come to terms that the Jews here to stay and agree to take their part of the land and not try to push us into the sea.

P.S
To the person with multiple accounts that puts the thumbs down to the pro Israelis everywhere no matter what, you are lame!

Divine Light
I think the Jews should own Israel again not the Zionists aka Israelis.

The fundamental aim of the Zionist movement has been not to save Jewish lives but to create a “Jewish state” in Palestine.

Founder of Zionism and fellow senior founders stated this.

What is sick is how greedy and how low some are willing to stoop for money that they say even if Ben Gurion said this and that, killed Jews with Hitler or was the reason the dream is real., you people should be sent to Palestine for sure and be hung for treason to Judaism, the Bible and Torah are right, you guys are sick sinners who have to face the death penalty for putting a state before G-d!
