We make the same mistake more than once because we have not learned the lesson we were suppose to learn the first time. Only when we have learned the lesson and acknowledge the lesson learned will we then not make the same mistake again.

Join the club, it's pretty normal to make some mistakes over and over. It is definitely because we didn't learn the first time or is a reminder because we forgot.

Apparently it's human nature. We keep thinking genocide will never happen again after the Holocaust but it happens all the time and is currently happening around the world as I type this. Very sad, as we never learn.

1.) A famous person once said "If I had it all to do over again, I'd make the same mistakes, only sooner." Just being a mistake doesn't mean it wasn't fun.

2.) Often we are not willing to admit that what we did was a mistake, so we try it again, thinking we can do it better this time. We are usually wrong.

3.) Some of us just do not learn or do not recognize the thinly-disguised version of a past mistake until it is too late.

I think its quite normal many may deny it but,we all are guilty of repeating our mistakes consciously or subconsciously. We humans are slow to learn from our mistakes. Unfortunately,some of us never learn and go through life repeating the same mistakes or wrong choices.
I remember a song by The Fugees said something like "The path we should choose is the path we refuse". These words are to often too true.
So don't be too hard on yourself, if that is your worst behavioual fault then you are doing very well.

in general for the Egyptians they don't learn from their mistakes ever, they do the same mistake all the time, for that Egypt are developed country and will still illiterate nation
