Eman : I will tell here a story ,Happened to me (I swear) years ago, I was in a business meeting with one Egyptian business man, and we had a project which could make lots of money together, when a nice secretary entered the room, when she left , the guy told me that she was his wife, I was surprised as I know he had children, and he explained to me , that she was his 3orfi wife, beside his original one, (he always got married 3orfi to his secretaries from time to time) he told me that as he thought I am a playboy,, anyway, immediately I shake hand and told him , he could be my cafÃ© friend not a partner in business, why? because I thought if he could cheat his wife , his children and even his secretary (telling her his love) FOR sex, He would cheat me very easy for money (money can buy sex , besides I was no one for him not like his own family) anyway, later I knew he was bankrupted after he cheated lots of people, Another story here, My partner in Holland when he started to cheat his wife , he started to cheat me, thanks God that he woke up and back to his senses although I am suffering from the period when he was a cheater till now,,, when a person cheats his family, does not respect his words with them (when marriage it is a promise not to cheat, not to marry again, or know someone, ) why should he/she be honest with a stranger,,,,I always trust people who are trusted and honest with their families , because honesty is not to be divided,,either a person is honest or not honest ,,,that is it

This is a very delicate subject, look trust in general has no rules, i mean some people trust others easily while some are very cautious in extending this trust.

I think what makes a person trustworthy, is their reliability, if their words and actions coincide (i mean they do not put up a front to suit others) and their loyalty to me as a friend.

For me i trust easily, until proven wrong and all it takes is one time, intentionally, that is, coz sometimes people do some crazy stuff by chance, to break this trust.

A person who is straightforward gains my respect and my trust.
The important question is how to know if the person is such or not. Easy, straightforward people do not lie, they keep their promises, they do not invent excuses nor act dump.
If you tell them something about yourself they do not remind you of it asking for the rest of the story. On the contrary they leave it to you whether you wish to go on or not. This is important because you may tell somebody something about yourself under certain circumstances or at a certain moment when you felt that you wanted to share your feelings with others.
All these qualities give me a green light to trust someone. It is the reliability of a person as Hope said that counts.

i am not sure, it just happens like you feel trustworthy towards someone or not, but then again that's the area playground of "nasabeen"

it`s just a feeling in your heart that can`t be defined exactly like love & of course some circumstances & situations proove to you that this someone can be trusted.

Track record. I don't look for one specific characteristic. I'm pretty untrusting when it comes to sharing personal information or feelings. I usually have to know the person pretty well to trust them.

I would like to think that I can trust every one but my life experience, actually, my work alone, taught me a lot not to, especially when it comes to money. I always give every person I meet the benefit of the doubt until they say or do something that makes me think if they really are trustworthy.

Honesty... Especially when someone is honest to me about their past and their faults, I see this person as a trustworthy person who is not trying to hide anything. This causes me to not only respect the person but my love for the person goes deeper.

They have to be someone I have known for a long time. And a really good friend. I wouldn't trust anyone with some secrets, but some secrets I could tell to any of my friends, see not all friends are trustworthy. Only the good ones, the ones that you know would do almost anything for you. Those are some of the things that I look for when I trust someone with a secret.

ok trusting ppl is NOT easy at all it's must be someoen who is close to me and knows me very well so i can trust him and rely on him too
also i have to know this person as well and maybe for a long time so that i can trust him

Life can be more happy if it is build on understanding, respect, forgiving, and then trust come to make it moor happy,
I read in a scientific book, that the brain produce some type of radiation ,Alpha, Beta,....etc.Humanes of the same type will be easy for them to make a good relation,
