marry for love work for money..

Marry for money. You can buy love.

ME
I'm not that desperate for money to sell/ degrade myself to such level, to live with a person for the rest of my life while I don't love him.

Honey, you must be a romantic young girl. Well, I would not have married a man I love if this man is not financial able to support a family. Why should my kids suffer lack of education etc. just because I was that selfish to build my marriage on love only?

What I try to say. When you get married you have to think in the long run and I hope for you that one day you will meet Mr. Right whom you will love and who is able to offer his family a life free of financial hassle.

This subject also will depend in what kind of society you live. In societies where it's comon for women to work and be financial independent, it's easier to marry "just for love" than in societies where wives financially depend on their husbands.

It's never good to take the extreme. I.e. love only/money only. At the end everybody has to sleep in the bed he/she build.

If money was so great so many celebrities wouldnt be dying from drug overdoses or comitting suicide.

Only love can give you that emotion inside that nothing else in the world can.

So if an absolutely poor guy who begs on streets for living comes to you and asks you to marry him (and you madly fall in love with him) you will do it because it's about love, right ?
I can't believe it...
I'd marry for love but I do consider money too.

Hamada
I do not really care about money... Marriage is not a matter of buy or sell. It is a matter of love and desire. Love can not do it alone , there should be desire and a lot of it with love in it.

well a little bit of both - i think it's stupid to be blind in love and marry someone totally inappropriate. I married for love with a man my family were, well to be honest perhaps not very thrilled with... but they were fine bcos his family are good, he is doing well in life and aslo the fact that he good looking helped. what they objected to was they think heisnt tactful and well mannered enough - the trouble is he really isnt a very tactful person and that can come across as rude sometimes.
But i dont think I would have married him if he wasnt doing well - this all happens at sub-consious level. It's no fun to work all your life bcos you have to. work is enjoyable only when you do it out of choice, like i do now.

I agree with you. Aimam a romantic and would only marry for love too.Money is like selling yourself. It corrupts.

You have to understand.. Certainly we can fall in love with anyone.
but what if you fell in love with a homeless man? no income, no home, no means of support at all?...
So you can marry for love sure, but he has to at least have a decent income.. I am not asking for a wealthy man, but have a good stable job and show that he can at least take care of me. House me, a good enough income that we dont live off paycheck to paycheck each month and be able to give me a good house where I can raise our children... And Thank Allah, I have just that..
