Well since you said "lovers" that implies I have one or more spare ones hanging around that I could loan out. :-) You know , kind of like a spare set of tweezers, or a spare pair of socks. If I was an Eskimo I imagine I would be going igloo to igloo visiting all my male buddies who were married.

Now On a serious note.

Even if i knew their partners very well I would not do it because in the long run nothing good will come of it. It would be a good way to destroy friendships.

There is no need to trade. If you need to play the field then dump you current one and trade up! What would be the purpose of swapping anyway. If I wanted my friend's partner then it would be something that would have to be weighed heavenly. Male friendships are more valuable than girls. I would resist the temptation.
I actually had an offer from a male friend to sleep with his girlfriend. He encouraged me telling me that she liked me and that they had an open relationship.

He was really a nice down to earth guy and very sincere. I thanked him for the offer but politely declined. We remained friends through college but have since lost contact. I just could not bring myself to do it.
Most people are not emotionally equipped to handle such things. It will bring out the worst in most people.

I had two girlfriends once. They both knew it and accepted it. However, I could not handle knowing that they both suffered because of it. They never complained but I could see the hurt in their eyes.
This may sound strange but it would have much easier on me to have cheated on them. That is better than knowing that the two people who love you are hurting but enduring.

It would rather be a pig of a guy than do the loaning out thing. As long as they don't know you are a total slime ball then there is no pain except your own guilt. However, in the end you simply can not get away with that either and respect yourself in the morning. At least if they found out they would hate you and get over it knowing that you was a total pig. I am speaking from the causing people pain perspective.
If you have any conscience at all and care about peoples feelings then more than likely you will not risk it. I do believe that there are some people which are emotionally equipped to handle swapping partners.

Personally, if someone else touch my girl he can keep her. I wouldn't want her back.

Why take the risk of loosing good friends over something so momentary.

I say don't do it. You are bound to loose more than you are to gain.
Besides having two girls, even if it is just trading for a week or two, will only cost you twice as much grief. Trading one grief for another for a week is not worth it either.
It is kind of gross exchanging spit with your friend's girl. Yuk. It would be like kissing your buddy.

You do not understand Islam, In Islam a man can take up to 4 lovers like the 'angel' said (but do as i say not as i do, as one took over 10 including 6 year olds little girls swinging on her swing, and. including infadels.
A female can only share her lover with other women, and can only marry a Muslim.

If you love someone you dont trade them. Unless you are married to a husband with more than one wife, then it is a constant trading of him.
