actually tel aviv is the best city and "safer" :/ in israel.
people are younger, less religous and the night life is great especially for gay people.
but in tel aviv airport, isrealian people (especially police and customs made you unconfortable, i think they hate tourists cause they are really rude, disrespectfull .

I went to Israel, but we did not spend much time in Tel Aviv just to get rental car). Israel is a great vacation spot, you just need to be smart on were you plan on going.

I highly reccomend visiting Tel Aviv, it's away from most of the conflict and has nice beutiful beaches and hot girls. I have been there before and it's really nice. Jerusalem is were most of the conflict is actually happening.

tel aviv ...absolutely!!!!! try mikes place a wonderful pub near the water and of course the sheinken street ....cinemiteque movie theater ,and the drum beach on friday afternoon

Yes of course... I have been there like number of times... with my families from Tonga and Samoa... oh and my Samoan cousin who converted to Judaism few years ago, is living in near Tel Aviv so we have been there number of times :)

Tel Aviv is a very very beautiful and amazing city... very safe there... (dont listen to the medias!!!!)

One day, after I complete my conversion to Judaism, I will make aliyah... maybe I will live in Tel Aviv or Ariel or Modiin... =]
