A prime minister can be anyone that can be a minister (and since we do have an Arab minister (Raleb Majadla) it disproves your first claim).
According to prime law - president of the state (link below) - Every Israeli citizen who is also an Israeli resident can be a candidate for presidency.

Sababa, so after reading the answers of the Jewish people I got encouraged. As soon as I graduate from University, I will go to Israel, apply for a citizenship (well Israelis claim that anybody can apply to a citizenship), then once I get the citizenship I will elect myself to become the Israeli prime minister.

That's not true. Any member of Knesset can be prime minister except if their occupation prevents them from serving (e.g. religious leader.) Here is a list of the members of Knesset, all of whom qualify for prime minister of president.

Any Israeli citizen can be PM or President, just like any Muslim American-born American can be President of the United States. However, the American majority is Christian and so all presidents thus far have been Christians.

To answer your question, no I don't think so. I think a person has the right to vote for who he or she thinks would be the best person for the job, and if a Christian wishes to vote for a Christian (which does often happen in the US) then that is their democratically-given right.

There are Arabs in office elected from districts primarily Arab in Israel, and anyone can run for any office, with the only exception of some not being a religious leader.

I would have to say no because Judaism is not an ethnicity. Ashkenazim Jews are not the only ones applicable to run for office, any more than Sephardi, etc. etc. It is, however, a Jewish state with some (I will emphasize SOME)understanding and enforcement of Jewish law.

A democracy doesn't mean there aren't rules. You have to be born in the US to become President, for example.

Just because an Arab can't be president of Israel--or a naturalized citizen can't be President of the U.S.--doesn't mean the country is not a democracy.

You asked a simple yes or no "Have you stopped beating your wife" type of question - that is, a question that assumed (incorrectly) that non-Jews can't become PM or president. That's obnoxious.

Had you simply asked if non-Jews could fill these offices, most likely no one would have insulted you.

There is no reason why that person could not try! Since Israel is a democracy with a JEWISH majority, chances are that the leader of the majority would be one of the majority, but this is not an absolute that the leader would be Jewish. The President is elected by the K'nesset and not by popular vote. The fact is that the State of Israel is defined as having a Jewish majority, and in a democracy it is the majority who represent the majority. Non-Jews already do sit on the Israeli Supreme Court!
